Or how you should just shut up and pay your fair share because crack whores need iPhones too? Or how we should ban the super ultra-deadly assault rifle AR-15 shotgun Glock? Or been asked why do you hate old people, you cismale gendernormative fascist, hatey-McHaterton-hatey-hate-hatemongering racist?

Have you grown frustrated because arguing with the willfully ignorant is like repeatedly punching a really dumb cactus?

The extremist, liberal, progressive, commie, hate-filled, lowlife demokkkRAT party has all the class and morals of a drag queen, who just got "her" wig pulled-off.

Well, I’ve prepared a handy checklist so you can accurately predict what your willfully ignorant statist will spout next! Have fun with this, as you can follow your friends arguments and play bingo with these. If you are new to internet debate, just find any kerfuffle on Facebook and see how long it takes for you to check most of these off. It is fun for the whole family!

This may come as a shock to some of you gentle readers, but I am politically opinionated.

Okay, never mind, but as one of the handful of politically outspoken conservatives or libertarians working in an entertainment industry that is overwhelmingly left leaning, at some point I became the voice of an angry generation. (in reality authors are about as evenly divided as the rest of America, but most of the ones on my side keep their mouths shut, but we'll get to that when we detail Concern Troll Threats).

Left wingers who can actually produce a solid argument are to be treasured and debated fully (that's sort of the point of debate). Unlike many of my liberal contemporaries, I don't “manage” my blog comments until I have an echo chamber and my self-esteem isn't predicated on how many sycophants pat my tender head while telling me how brilliant I am for standing up for some straw man cause de jour. All liberals & most demokkkRATs think that life is just a warm sponge bath with a happy ending. I’ve got a bunch of regular left wing readers who can bring their A Game. I love them. Arguing with them, and honing my points against them makes my arguments stronger for the future.

Sadly, for every intelligent, articulate Eric Flint out there, most arguments against idiotic liberal group-think, results in a legion of poo-flinging monkeys showing up.

This checklist is intended only for the willfully ignorant, banally stupid, sound byte spewers incapable of thinking through anything more complicated than a Facebook meme. The lowest form of debater is the pathetic crap sacks that can only follow this checklist.

A Day In The Life

I was awake and up at 5am on Friday, and with an outside temp of 25°F, it was quite a (welcome) change from yesterday's -8°F. While making Fresh-Squeezed OJ w/ lots of pulp, French-Roast, Turkish-Grind Coffee (from whole, freshly-ground Starbuck's® Dark French Roast Fresh Ground Beans) with my Chemex® Drip System, I checked the weather and new sites, scanned the few emails which didn't get routed into the 'junk' folder, and thought about the hard drive (HD) problem of the past couple days. One more day with it and I'm taking it into Matt's shop on Monday, and getting out my spare, identical computer to use until he or Aman get it "fixed". It's just not worth the aggravation anymore, for me to beat my brains out trying to "fix" it; they're going to have to do a HD reformat and another Full System Image Transfer. Several of the weather stations are already predicting a massive blizzard, on a par with The Blizzard of '96, for the middle of next week. Swell. I drove down to the local convenience store and deli, to get some milk,

bread and smokes and stopped by the bank to make a deposit, and then home by 11:30am. There were 2 10oz Maryland Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes in the 'fridge shouting my name, and I couldn't resist. While listening to Rush, I gave a final try to researching and finding a "fix" for the corrupted Control Panel in Win-7 Pro x64. 4 hours later – holy carp, was it that long? – I gave up and went down to the basement to check my spare HP Compaq 6000 Pro Microtower (Win-7 Pro 64x) unit's back panel connections, came back up to check connections on the existing unit, and tuned into the Mark Levin Show until 9pm, and watched some CATV until 11:15pm. I called it quits for the day, at 11:30.

I slept-in until 7:15 on Saturday morning, made the usual OJ and coffee, had a quick Bacon & Tomato Sandwich on Toast, and checked the weather and new sites, scanned email and planned-out my switch – lots of folders and files to be copied off the old machine – to the other computer. I must have spent 3-4hrs today online looking for a "fix" for my main computer. My eyeballs are killing me. Hell, I've been online researching tech sites for a damned "fix", and have tried damn near every

one suggested and linked at all of those hundreds of tech sites. The forecast was calling for another major Winter storm "Nika" to hit this area, starting Monday and going thru mid-week, right after this ongoing storm "Maximus" hits us on Sunday-Monday. *** WINTER STORM ALERT *** notices were already posted on weather channel sites. Crap; not what I needed to hear. Anyway, I left at 9:30 for Dad's, helped him with a few things, and drove over to my Sister's Condo, and helped her. Back by 12noon, I made a Grilled Corned Beef & Swiss & Fried Onions on Rye Sandwich, and listened to the Best of Rush, from 12-3, while tinkering with some settings on my computer. I decided to make the switch from #1 (Condo) to #2 (Office) computer, and at 1:50pm, did the dirty deed. The changeover went smoothly, and the personalization/configuration took almost 4½-hours. The worst was Windows Update, which had 92 frigging updates! waiting to be downloaded, installed and configured! Holy carp!! My CPUs went nuts and I thought the HD and memory sticks would melt. By 3:30, I restarted and everything calmed down. I installed a few old, familiar

programs and pointed each to its particular program folder on the external drive. There were a few glitches with peripheral drivers, but I eventually got those fixed. 13 more MS-Updates were waiting in the CP (Control Panel) queue at 4pm, so I let those download and install, too. I opened-up the CP (Control Panel) and saw the HD (Hard Drive) driver file in the 2nd unit's HD list (Programs & Features), and remembered that what was what I read about on all those computer error tech forums, for the past 4 days. I quickly closed it down, and re-installed my first unit, found that driver file – sp47845.exe – I'd downloaded and saved on Thursday, installed it, rebooted, and both (((WINDOWS UPDATE))) & (((WINDOWS DEFENDER))) WORKED!!!!!!!! IT'S FIXED!!! Holy carp!! What I found on the second unit was a HD degrading rapidly at 38% reliability, when anything under 70% means failure is imminent. I'm now going to take it in to Matt's Shop on Monday, instead of the first unit. Woo-Hoo! I'll have Aman install a new 500Gb SATA HD and transfer a system image from the failing drive, and it should be a solid back-up unit to my main unit, for years. I wished (not really; just a passing thought about it...) I drank again, so I could have a cold Rolling Rock, or six; I richly deserve it!

They're friends and old customers of mine, and have some of the most beautiful gardens you'll ever see. And we helped her and Scott build their original outdoor dream. Their new Daylily Gardens

– one of my favorite plant genus – look great. They did an amazing job! I'm going over to visit in the early Spring, so I can see the place come-to-life, after a hard Winter.

Hells bells, I looked-up from working on the computer, at the wall clock, and it was going on 12 midnight. Lost in time, I was. Damn. Snow – 3-6" of it – forecast to start Sunday evening and go thru Monday afternoon. Swell. Monday's laundry done and linens changed day, but I want to drop-off the back-up computer to Matt's and get the System Image Transfer Process started. But damn! I'm amazed that all that angst and frenzy paid-off, learning about and finding the cure-all, HD driver file. Back Slap!. I only have a few things to get on my food shopping list, as I loaded-up last Monday, and since snow's on the way, I may or may not go. I can always go after the snowstorm; maybe I'll just sleep-in tomorrow. Maybe not. All we've had all day is an ***AIR QUALITY ALERT*** on the weather-specific sites. By 12:45am, I was headed upstairs to la-la-land.

Up at 7:30 on Sunday morning, I made coffee and had some Texas Red Grapefruit Sections with Avocado Slices, and put-off breakfast for a little while. While checking the weather and news sites, I saw the ***WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY*** was finally posted and the forecast was now 6-8" of snow overnight and all day tomorrow. Swell. From being off the Net for most of yesterday, I had a boatload of emails waiting, and set-off a Windows Defender quick scan. Mentally, I reviewed the events of the past 4-5 days, with the "missing driver file" on my main computer's HD, and was amazed at myself that I didn't try it when I first read about that "fix" on Wednesday afternoon. I struggled for days with "other fixes" which got me nowhere, and the solution was right in front of my face on the tech sites, almost from the beginning. Yet it seemed dangerous, based upon the accompanying warning from HP, who published the

Intel driver on their tech support site. Who knew? 28°F and another Winter storm or two – "Maximus" or "Nika"? – are on the way; heh. I finally finished-up the requested paperwork for 2013 income taxes, and got the piles labeled, paper clipped and into a folder; now I need to call my CPA for an appointment. I checked my food shopping list and there wasn't anything I really needed to go out for, so I decided to stay home and clean some firearms, get a load or two of laundry done, and maybe watch the last 15mins of the Stupor Bowl. I watched a movie called Charlie Wilson's War, and the actor who'd just OD'd on smack today, was in it; a sad waste of talent. By 8pm, Gun Talk Radio was on, and I followed it on this Conservative website, caught the last 15 minutes of "the big game" blowout – the ads were very good, as usual – stayed with Gun Talk until 11pm, checked the weather maps one more time for the oncoming storm, and called it a day.

I got up at 6:30 on Monday morning, and I could see from the Condo's 2nd floor windows that already we'd gotten 2-3" of snow. While making OJ and coffee, I dialed-up the usual assortment of weather maps, checked the news, scanned the 50 or so emails, and enjoyed the snowfall. 25°F. I listened to the Morning Show on WMAL (DC) and traffic was a nightmare; glad I'm retired and don't have to go out in that

wet, heavy snowy mess. By 8am, we were under a ***WINTER STORM WARNING***, and it was really coming down. None of my neighbors were moving, schools, gov't and businesses were closed for the day and I was glad the years of slogging thru deep snows, as in the Blizzard of 1996 and in the Presidents' Day Blizzard of 2003, to get to and plow-out the 20ac GC&N Complex, were over and in the past. I don't miss plowing the 20ac Complex, in an open cab machine, getting frostbite, soaking wet and freezing on the old JD Skidloader 675B and my newer JD317 Skidloader; my trusty old JD955 Tractor was just no good for plowing heavy snow. I don't miss it. 7-8" of snow so far, and still coming down heavily. After my usual morning shower, I stripped the bed and started another load of laundry; not much to do today except that and some other inside work. Looking again at the weather maps, we were right on the line between severe t-storms hitting the areas south of us, and the bitter cold making snow, so we were getting hammered with heavy, wet, blinding snow. Thousands of flight canceled/re-scheduled all over the Nation. I listened to the Chris Plante Show from 9-12, and from where they broadcast in DC, it was all rain, and heavy rain. Around 10am, the forecast changed to bitter cold tonite and heavy ice for tomorrow. Crap. I called Dad to make sure he was okay and staying in for the day. I remember 55 years ago today, as the "Day The Music Died", in a big Iowa snowstorm; I was 10. At 11:30am, I was standing at the front door's glass storm door, when several

dozen Robins descended on my neighbor's crabapple tree (most are hidden behind the vehicle) and started stripping it of berries and scooping-up the fallen berries in the snow. Compared to previous years' mild Winters, they're here early, but only by a few weeks. Robins and other native birds don't really migrate – they're nomadic foragers for food, in their native areas – so they Winter-over in nearby deeply-wooded areas, and they're out locally scavenging for Spring foods already. By 2pm, we'd gotten an easy 12" of snow and it was still coming down, but a little lighter in intensity; the stormfront was passing gradually to the east and out-to-sea. By 3pm, it was over, but the sky had taken on a sickening grayish color. The snowplow contractors came thru around 4:30, and got the street, driveways and sidewalks done. It's staying light now until 5:45pm, so Spring is coming ever so slowly. At 6pm, a ***WINTER STORM WATCH*** for another coming storm on Wednesday, had replaced the current warning. Crap. The Mark Levin Show was on from 6-9pm, and temps were dropping into the low teens. Afterward, I watched numerous YT videos of Hog Hunts in Helicopters until 1:30am, and finally bagged it for the day. Since I didn't get out today, I have lots to do tomorrow, and the cleaning ladies will be coming around 8:30am, or maybe not.

Wow, I overslept until 8:15 on Tuesday morning; I need to get to bed earlier and quit staying up so late. 13°F outside and cold in the Condo, so I upped the heat to 77°F, quickly made OJ and coffee, checked the weather and news sites, and viola!, another ***WINTER STORM WARNING*** was staring me in the face. Crap. The cleaning ladies arrived at 8:45, and I left at 9. After

stopping at the dry cleaners, computer store and local convenience store – Weis Market's parking lot was filled with crisis shoppers, so I avoided it – and returned home at 10:30. Hungry, I made two BLT w/ Fried Egg Sandwiches & Fries, and salted my Condo's front walk and driveway, which were mostly cleared-off and melted anyway. Temps had climbed to a sweltering 25°F, and the whole area was frosted with wet, sticky snow and looked like an early picture postcard. God paints many truly amazing pictures, if we just take the time to notice and appreciate His works. I do.

We just had 8-9" of snow on Monday, and now there's another ice/snowstorm barreling into the area tonite and tomorrow, and yet another snowstorm setting itself up to hit the region over the weekend. Crap, crap and crap. After a Reuben Sandwich & Fries and a bowl of Maryland Crab Soup, I listened to the Mark Levin Show from 6-9pm, and then watched 25-30 Helicopter Hog Hunting in Texas videos on YouTube, until 1:30am.

I'm seriously thinking about going down for a Helicopter Hog Shoot, in the Fall. At 28°F, I could hear the frozen rain and sleet on the skylights and windows. Snow was mostly to our north, according to the weather radar maps, but we'd get some along with a whole bunch of ice. ***WINTER STORM WARNING*** was still up on all weather channels. Time to call it a day. I'll be staying put tomorrow, at least until it all melts. Ice is a real bad driving surface. Been there, done that. After closing down, arming the Condo, I went upstairs for some sleep.

Awake at 5:15 on Wednesday morning, I noticed that my bedside digital clock was blinking power outage, so I just rolled over and went back to sleep. Screw it. A few bizzarro dreams later, I woke up, and reset the clock to my Rolex time of 7:30am, and got up for the day. 31°F outside. After turning up the Condo's heat, I saw the stove's and microwave's digital clocks were also blinking, and I reset them. Everything outside was shiny and coated with ice. While making OJ and coffee, I checked the weather and news maps, scanned the 25+ new emails and made Soft-Boiled Eggs w/ Toast in a bowl, for breakfast. Temps were up to 32°F, and according to the weather stations, this storm had impacted 32 states. BFD; it's Winter! Nevermind the ice everywhere. Rain moved into the area and kept up much of the day, but the ice persisted. Damage everywhere. We'd been getting "power spikes" all night and thru much

of the day, as the local electric companies' wires/lines/substations failed and were re-switched. Damn, I just got a call from my former realtor that the potential buyers he'd been working with, now canceled-out of buying the GC&N Complex, primarily because of the negative township zoning commission meeting results, last month. So I'm back to where I was almost 3 years ago: nowhere, without a buyer. Dammit. Maybe the new realtor can get this done; he officially starts June 1st, but is working on something now. After listening to the Chris Plante Show from 9-12, I made some Chicken Noodle & Vegetable Soup, listened to Mark Steyn sub for Rush from 12-3, while inventorying my pantry shelves and rotating-out some older canned goods for this week's use. I had another small load of laundry to do, and soon the Mark Levin Show was on from 6-9pm. The weather maps had cleared as the massive stormfront had moved north to Boston and out to the Atlantic. Intrigued by a YT video called "9-11: The New Pearl Harbor", by a link a friend had sent, I began watching the 3-part, 5-hour investigative/documentary series, until 12:45am. Tired, I bookmarked the spot, closed down, armed the Condo and went upstairs to bed. I'll resume tomorrow, after getting a few errands done and helping Dad and Becky with their projects before the new weekend storm whacks us again.

I slept like a stone until 8am on Thursday, got up to an 18°F day, made the usual coffee and OJ, and checked the weather sites first: more snow likely. Still, almost 450,000 in the region are without power from the ice storm.

Yesterday's "mega storm" was a dud up here; just freezing rain and just plain rain. I hope they forget to "name the frigging storm", this time. I wanted to go to Weis Market and get a few things, so I grabbed a shower, reviewed my food shopping list, and left at 9:30. The damage to trees from the ice storm was unbelievable; some areas looked like a war zone! Here, here, here and here. Many, many more pics, here. I maneuvered around the debris and closed streets and roads, got my shopping done, drove to Dad's to visit and help him with his cellphone problem, and came home by 11:30am. Although only 28°F, it felt much warmer in the sun. After a Roast Beef Sandwich & Fries Smothered in Gravy for lunch, I went out for a "short" walk and wound-up at The York Galleria shopping center, and walked laps around the upper mezzanine level. Four hours later, I was back home in time for the Mark Levin Show and to empty-out the Jeep, so I can help Becky haul some loads of things for her new Condo on Friday. I listened to part of the the morning's missed Chris Plante Show Podcast from 9-11pm, grew tired, closed down for the night, and went to sleep.

Tomorrow starts a new week here in the "Journal", with several new realtor meetings at the GC&N Complex next week, depending upon the weather, a long overdue breakfast with an old friend, and deal with whatever rears its head.

Your TSHTF Survival

Are you truly ready for when, not if, TSHTF (The Shit Hits The Fan). And a lot of my "Journal" Readers have emailed and called me to discuss what preparations they should take for that "coming awful event". Believe me, "it" IS coming. Based upon what's happening around the world and here in the US, I have a terrible, terrible *gut feeling* that TSWHTF (The Shit Will Hit The Fan), sometime in 2014. Don't ask why; I just do.

First, Israel is preparing for war, after being attacked for years on many fronts, and not fighting back as she should have. This war will truly have "Biblical implications" around the world. The Middle East is rapidly-collapsing under the subhuman, murderous muslim/islamic riots (muslim Brotherhood) and rule ("arab Spring"), with world crude oil prices projected to hit $200+/bbl, or even higher into the $300-$400 range,

Europe is on the verge of insolvency and collapse, no thanks in great part to Germany, teetering-and-tottering Asia and South America will quickly-follow, then comes the downfall of Canada, and The USA won't be far behind, in late 2012 and into 2013. Watch this video; be sure you're sitting-down, and don't have any food or liquid in your mouth upon which to choke.

Just Google "survival" and see what comes-up. Damned-near everything you ever wanted to know how to prepare for this for-sure-coming "hellish holocaust", some of it in easy-to-download *.PDF format. Tens-of-thousands of websites are devoted to the topic of "survival". Do the same with "You Tube", and watch the thousands of videos. This is *NOT The Phony Y2K Crappola*; this is for real. I said numerous times that Y2K was a waste of time and money to prepare for, and that came true. I'm reading that "survival stores" are reporting a huge upswing in sales and preparations, and for good reason.

I'm also one of the very, very few who "predicted a 9-11 type event", 2 years and 8 months before it happened. Read down that "Journal" entry to the "Scary Stuff" section, and it was done by the subhuman, murderous muslim/islamic shit/filth/trash, NOT the US Gov't as some morons and idiots (Alex Jones & Co), have and still It's interesting you mention when an old paradigm dies and a new one takes its place. There are people who are still connected to the old one and can't conceive of life without that old paradigm. I think you saw that in the Great Depression. A lot of people never recovered from it because once that hit it was the end of their lives. claim. Need I say more about those certifiable and murderous, subhuman muslim/islamist wackos who are determined to kill all of us Proud Infidels?

Am I an "conspiracy alarmist" or one of those "crazed survivalists", sequestered in a Montana, Idaho, Utah or Wyoming compound or bunker? Not hardly; I'm simply in mid-State Pennsylvania, an Eagle Scout, Class of 1963, Order Of The Arrow/ Vigil Honor, and our BSA Motto was then, and still is now, "Be Prepared". Need I say any more?

Forget all of the "buy gold and silver" bullshit commercials; buy "brass and lead" for your guns. They're a far, far superior investment, IMO. Ammo is truly a "fungible" item; gold & silver aren't at all. They may be "intrinsic", but they're utterly-useless in a collapsing/collapsed society or world. Do the requisite research, as I've done. 'Nuff said on that subject.

BTW, how are you stocked-up for incandescent light bulbs? Within 4 weeks, manufacturing and using 100w incandescent will become "a crime", thanks to stupid-assed, liberal moron chimp, shit-for-brains, George W Bush & Co, in 2007. You'll be forced, under penalty-of-law, to use the very expensive,

dangerous and short-lived CFLs (Compact Fluorescent Light bulbs). Better stock-up NOW on 60w, 75w and 100w incandescents, where and when you can find them, before they become unavailable and illegal!

This government's ***CRIMINALLY NUTS***, in trying to regulate our use of anything and everything! It's fascism, socialism, Leninism and communism, dammit, and it won't stand! Where is that in The US Constitution? The US Government isn't empowered to force us to do or buy anything, and has overstepped its legal authority in The ENUMERATED Commerce Clause. The Commerce Clause is quite specifically an enumerated power listed in the United States Constitution (Article I, Section 8, Clause 3). The Contemporary Commerce Clause debate, When "decided by the SCOTUS in the Summer of 2012", will cause CWIII, if upheld. Stockpile NOW, because TSHTF before/during/after the November General Election!

Gold is NOT the way to go; lead and brass (aka ammo) ARE. Mark my words!

Obama: "Entrepreneurs Don't Build Businesses"

"Last week, President Barack Obama delivered some telling remarks to a fire station full of people in Roanoke, Virginia. I'll save you the trouble of reading the (long and uninspired) speech and provide you with the most interesting part:

"If you've got a business – you didn't build that. Somebody else made that happen." – President Barack Obama, July 13th, 2012.

It would be easy to respond with something along the lines of, "Somebody else made that happen? Who? Who magically imagined the product or service, started the business, built it up, and created the jobs? Who was it? The tooth fairy?" And to some extent, President Obama's statement is so ridiculous as to merit that sort of quick, flippant response.

However, he's not entirely wrong. This reminds me of an argument that Massachusetts Senate Democratic candidate Elizabeth Warren would probably make. If he's talking about a mid-sized or large business, where an entrepreneur has hired additional employees, then at that point the business's success isn't purely that of its founder.

Employees add value to a business through work and ideas. That's why you hire employees, after all. Steve Jobs didn't invent every last detail of the phones, computers, and tablets to come out of Apple over the last decade. There were engineers working on those products who developed them. So, employees help entrepreneurs to build their business. "Somebody else" did indeed play a part in making that happen.

But what makes the president's remarks so inane is the totality of what he's saying. He's not saying that entrepreneurs and employees work together to build a business. It's not a collaborative effort. It's all thanks to the employees. Usually, I can understand the way the president's mind works on most issues by examining it through a pragmatic, liberal, or progressive framework. This one baffles me.

As I explained, I can see that he has some of a point, but he's still just obviously wrong on the broader point. Sure, the employees help to build the business, but the business itself wouldn't exist without the entrepreneur. So, to say to entrepreneurs and to business owners, "...you didn't build that. Somebody else made that happen," is just wrong. It's silly. They did build that by setting the foundation for the business.

Entrepreneurs are almost always the hardest workers in their business. They work a simply insane number of hours to get their idea off the ground. If they succeed (and they face a tremendous risk if they don't), then they'll start to grow and to hire employees to help. Honestly, if I were an entrepreneur and I read those remarks by the president, I would be furious. It's a tremendous insult to the true job-creators in America, entrepreneurs.

In the context of a long, somewhat rambling campaign speech that touched on every issue under the sun, it may seem as though I'm over-exaggerating the importance of a minor thing he said. But President Obama isn't a stupid man, or even one who makes off-the-cuff remarks he doesn't really mean. He's a very smart man, and he meant what he said.

When the most important issues for most Americans are economic growth and job creation, I believe it's essential to know exactly where both candidates stand on the importance of entrepreneurs.
