Why have we gotten "less viscious" rather than "more viscious", as we fight wars? Has (((:::PC:::))) infected and polluted everything around you? I sure think it has, sometimes. Last Friday evening and Saturday morning, we dodged another Winter snow-icestorm, which also skirted the York (PA) area, and dumped 1.1" of rain on us. Just 35 miles to the north, they got hammered again with sleet and ice. Same as last week's storm, which just missed us. Wow, mid-January, mild temps and still no snow. At least we're getting some rain out of it all. The Farmer's Almanac is calling it pretty close. I sure hope they're wrong on all that snow, coming in a February blizzard.

The "Year in Crunks", highlights some real doozies: Kentucky's Lexington Herald-Leader's apology for not covering the civil rights movement, the Chicago Tribune's accidental usage of the "C" word in a headline, and this one from the Dallas Morning News: "An Oct. 19 article on songwriter John Bucchino incorrectly stated that he doesn't read. The sentence should have said that he doesn't read music."
