some people are calling for "reconciliation" after Trump's election. Some even say that Hillary shouldn't be prosecuted.
The reality is that if we allow liberals to constantly misuse government power and break the law with no consequences, they will never stop. Like little children, they need a spanking to keep them in line.
President Trump should set up a special prosecutor to dig up all the government workers, from Hillary on down, who used government power to further tyranny.
People like Lois Lerner, who used the full power of the IRS to silence voices that disagreed with her political leanings, should not just be able to retire and collect a pension.
So long as liberals know they can misuse the power of government and get away with it, they will continue to wage war against the American people while being paid by the American people.
Hillary has to be tried for her pay for play schemes and her imperilment of national security. It's un-American for one set of laws to apply to citizens, like the Marine who was thrown out of the Corps because he sent a classified message on unclassified email in order to save lives, and another to people who are in power.
In 2008, a liberal Ohio government employee illegally searched government records for information on "Joe the Plumber," who had embarrassed Obama. She was suspended for two months but not fired. When sued, her legal fees were paid for by the taxpayers of Ohio. While Ohio passed a law requiring firing as a consequence of such actions, her getting off so easily clearly emboldened others in the federal government to misuse their governmental authority for Obama.
In addition to misusing government power to attack conservatives, liberals in government are constantly abusing their authority by covering up illegal actions by liberals.
During the Obama years, we've seen case after case of the government either ignoring court orders or congressional requests or slow-rolling them, saying they'll produce all of Hillary's emails by 2020, for example. If the government employees involved knew they faced immediate firing for such behavior, it would be much harder for corrupt politicians like Obama to get their minions to abuse government power.
We can't drain the swamp if all the alligators have life preservers and "get out of jail free" cards.
We need to strike fear in the hearts of all government workers. They need to know that if they intentionally abuse their power, they face serious negative consequences – just as citizens know that if they break the law, they face consequences.
Clearly, government workers can exercise their First Amendment rights, and it's no crime to support the Democratic Party. But violating their oath of office has to have consequences; otherwise, innocent people will continue to be crushed by the behemoth state that liberals have created.
We can't let liberal government employees be above the law and unanswerable to anyone for their actions.
That may sound harsh, but the reality is that today Americans are afraid of their government because it's impossible for any but the richest people to win a fight with government workers run amok.
If the IRS shows up at your door because you expressed conservative opinions, you're essentially doomed. So honest priests and ministers who have political views consistent with Christian teaching are afraid to speak out.
But at the same time, liberal preachers know they can openly advocate for liberals like Obama or Hillary because the government won't prosecute them.
Similarly, Catholic nuns have had to expend a huge amount of money fighting for their First Amendment right to not support abortion while the liberal government workers who are attacking them get paid with taxpayer dollars.
It's a double standard because conservatives who go against the liberal line are in danger of losing their jobs.
Scooter Libby was prosecuted for having a bad memory, and the prosecutor intentionally concealed exculpatory evidence. But Libby was a conservative.
That reflects the reality that if a conservative is perceived as abusing government power by liberals, he will be viciously attacked and prosecuted. But a liberal actually pleading the 5th knows that he will not suffer any adverse consequences.
That has to change. Every government worker should be constantly aware that if he abuses his power and citizens complain, he can be fired and prosecuted.
The first step in draining the swamp is making it clear that anyone who misuses his government authority, conservative or liberal, will lose his job. Without that, the swamp will be like the Augean stables, and we'll never be able to drain it.
Today we live in a tyranny because the people are afraid of the government. We need to change that so that the government is afraid of the people in order to restore the America the Founders left us.

A Day In The Life
The cold pak and Rx pain meds had worn-off many times into Friday morning, and I had to renew them every 3-4hrs. It was too painful to lay down, or even sit on the LR couch just to fall asleep, so I spent the night in an uncomfortable chair, dozing in-and-out-of-sleep. Net net: I got none. Some V8 and coffee helped, and I dozed-off for a few hours. Becky stopped by and dropped-off 4 more ice paks, so I can more easily rotate them around, from the freezer to my lower back. Whether it's broken or cracked ribs, or severe muscle trauma – or some of both – there just isn't anything but time and rest, that the medical community can do, except get x-rays and CT-Scans, for the record. Somehow, I latched onto a History Channel show that I've ridiculed in the past – Ancient Aliens – and its selection of episodes for the evening, was very good. I watched until 11:30, and fell asleep at the computer table, with a pillow from the sofa, still not able to lie down flat on the couch because of the pain. One small step at a time.

Saturday was thankfully another night's decent sleep, hunched over my kitchen's computer table; heh. By 9am, I had a freshly-rotated frozen cold pak and 2 Rx Oxycodone to start the day, along with OJ and coffee. The worst part of this back rib/muscle injury is when I have to cough-up some "stuff". Talk about pain! The last of my older cold-paks had sprung a leak, and had to be ditched; so I'm down to the 6 new ones. Between the Acute/Severe Pancreatitis and recent back injury, I'm pretty well limited as to what I can do physically. I dislike taking opiates for pain; one of their other side effects for me, is that they make me lose track of real time, and feel nothing. Another is the visual hallucinations, even when "taken as directed". But there really isn't a choice right now, until the healing of my back is well-underway, and I am able to get back to where I was, before Wednesday 6/7, at 6:15pm, when it happened. I had several calls from friends asking if I was up to a BBQ this weekend, and after telling them I'd have to take a rain check, wondered if I'd ever get back to "normal". Yes, but in a matter of months, not weeks. Sucks to be me. "Suddenly", it was 11:30pm, and I was ready to get some more sleep at the computer table. So go my days and nights.
Don't forget that June is Black Music Month, just as February was Black History Month. Just makes me want to rush out and buy some Nigga-American music: crapper/soul/gospel DVDs, and some baggy pants, a XXXXXXXL Ché t-shirt, a retardo baseball cap with a flat visor, $#1,500 Nike shit sneakers... you know the drill. WTF do we need to be reminded of that racist, moronic minority bullshit for? How about Black Rioting Month, Black Murder Month, Black Looting Month, Black EBT Month, Black Stupid Drug Dealer Month, Black... etc etc etc?
On Sunday, I slept-in again until 9:30am, had some V8, started coffee and checked the weather and news reports. Becky stopped-by to take my newly-written Rx for Oxycodone HCl 10mg to Rite Aid, since I was out of painkillers. My doc upped the dosage from 5md to 10mg, due to bodyweight, an gave me 90, instead of 30, for the month. I was starting to cough, and the pain was hard to take. I had laundry to do, and the F-1 Canadian Grand Prix in Montreal was on NBC-SN TV at 2pm. Apparently, I missed all the NBC promos about the IndyCar care at Texas Motor Speedway, last night at 8pm, so all I coulkd find were some highlights and clips of it, on YT. It was also 92°F outside, so I decided not to spend any time on the south-facing front porch, in the sun, especially in the marginal medical condition I'm in right now. Oppressive heat and humidity never liked me much, anyhow. I watched History Channel's 2-hr special, Hamilton: Building America, and a couple of "I-just-don't-remember" shows on "Velocity Channel", until around 11, and bagged it for the night, once again "curling-up" in my computer chair, with back injury pain.
I started Monday out with another decent night's sleep (9 hrs!), even if it was at the computer table, face-down in a pillow. Adding toast to my breakfast repertoire, I also added a small folding aluminum beach chair to my front porch, so I could sit in the sun for a few hours during the week. Dave gave Becky one for me to try out, and she dropped it off here. My back was still doling-out, in slowly-decreasing quantities, the bayonet-in-the-back pain and crippling effect of my dumbass clumsy fall, last Wednesday evening. I kept rotating the 6 cold-paks, eating as much protein as I could, and trying to get what little exercise I could, in my depleted condition. Monday was forecast to be in the low-90s, and it didn't disappoint: by 3pm, it'd already hit 96°F and broken all kinds of records. By 11:30pm, I'd had enough and quit for the day.
Waking-up at 7 on Tuesday morning, I had a smoke and a drink of fresh, cold water, and went back to sleep until 9:30. Another hot and humid day in store for the East Coast, but since I'm staying inside, I don't much care. Dad had to take Becky to OSS Medical Center for skin surgery on a mole, and then stopped here for an hour to visit. Later in the evening, I heated-up some leftover Chinese food – Gen Tsao's Chicken, white rice, shrimp toast, steamed pot stickers – while watching the Velocity Channel, and would-up eating too much, and would be miserable all night, and I'll pay for it tomorrow, room.. I folded-up the tent just after midnight, and slept on the LR couch.
No, my daily regimen doesn't include any Aspirin 325mg, and hasn't, since early last Fall. I still use it when needed, but not daily.
Wednesday was another morning to sleep late – 10 or 10:30, I think – but I'd rather be back in my own bed, upstairs. Right now, it just takes too long to get up and down the stairs. The 9am Pulmonary Rehab session was actually in July, NOT today; my error in copying notes from a phone pad to my calendar. I just had OJ, coffee and Ensure; after my gluttonous fling with the Chinese food, at dinner last evening. I'm still paying the price with abdomen pain. Dad stopped-by for a visit, several neighbors came to check on me and bring hommemade soups, I called it quits at 11:30pm.
Up Thursday at 5am, I went back to sleep until 9, fired-up the Chemex®, had some OJ and started paying bills. I prefer to pay by check, but do pay some online now. Becky showed-up at 1:15pm, and we left for my dr's app't at Apple Hill Medical Center, with the Chief of Oncology Surgeon. After a few stops on the return trip, I was back home by 5, took a much-needed pain med, had some Ensure and shrimp past salad, and began opening the past 6 days' mail and paying bills. After takingthe garbage out to the urb for moning, pick-up, I had the Velocity Channel on until 12:15am, laid-out my 10 pill regimen for tomorrow, shut everything down, armed the condo and looked at my to-do list for tomorrow. Lights out.
Conundrum.
The very definition of the word conundrum is "something that is puzzling or confusing". Here are six conundrums today, in the US:
1. America is capitalist and greedy - yet half of the population is subsidized.
2. Half of the population is subsidized - yet they think they are victims.
3. They think they are victims - yet their representatives run the government.
4. Their representatives run the government - yet the poor keep getting poorer.
5. The poor keep getting poorer - yet they have things that people in other countries only dream about.
6. They have things that people in other countries only dream about - yet they want America to be more like those other countries.
Think about it. That pretty much sums up the USA in the 21st century. Kind of makes you wonder who is doing the math.
These three, short sentences tell you a lot about the direction of our current government and cultural environment:
1. We are advised to NOT judge ALL muslims by the actions of a few lunatics, but we are encouraged to judge ALL gun owners by the actions of a few lunatics. Funny how that works. And here's another one worth considering...
2. Seems we constantly hear about how Social Security is going to run out of money. How come we never hear about welfare or food stamps running out of money? What's interesting is the first group "worked for" their money, but the second didn't. Think about it. And last but not least...
3. Why are we cutting benefits for our veterans, no pay raises for our military and cutting our army to a level lower than before WWII, but we are not stopping the payments or benefits to all illegal aliens?
Am I the only one missing something?

Obama: "Entrepreneurs Don't Build Businesses"
"Last week, President Barack Obama delivered some telling remarks to a fire station full of people in Roanoke, Virginia. I'll save you the trouble of reading the (long and uninspired) speech and provide you with the most interesting part:
"If you've got a business – you didn't build that. Somebody else made that happen." – President Barack Obama, July 13th, 2012.
It would be easy to respond with something along the lines of, "Somebody else made that happen? Who? Who magically imagined the product or service, started the business, built it up, and created the jobs? Who was it? The tooth fairy?" And to some extent, President Obama's statement is so ridiculous as to merit that sort of quick, flippant response.

However, he's not entirely wrong. This reminds me of an argument that Massachusetts Senate Democratic candidate Elizabeth Warren would probably make. If he's talking about a mid-sized or large business, where an entrepreneur has hired additional employees, then at that point the business's success isn't purely that of its founder.
Employees add value to a business through work and ideas. That's why you hire employees, after all. Steve Jobs didn't invent every last detail of the phones, computers, and tablets to come out of Apple over the last decade. There were engineers working on those products who developed them. So, employees help entrepreneurs to build their business. "Somebody else" did indeed play a part in making that happen.
But what makes the president's remarks so inane is the totality of what he's saying. He's not saying that entrepreneurs and employees work together to build a business. It's not a collaborative effort. It's all thanks to the employees. Usually, I can understand the way the president's mind works on most issues by examining it through a pragmatic, liberal, or progressive framework. This one baffles me.
As I explained, I can see that he has some of a point, but he's still just obviously wrong on the broader point. Sure, the employees help to build the business, but the business itself wouldn't exist without the entrepreneur. So, to say to entrepreneurs and to business owners, "...you didn't build that. Somebody else made that happen," is just wrong. It's silly. They did build that by setting the foundation for the business.
Entrepreneurs are almost always the hardest workers in their business. They work a simply insane number of hours to get their idea off the ground. If they succeed (and they face a tremendous risk if they don't), then they'll start to grow and to hire employees to help. Honestly, if I were an entrepreneur and I read those remarks by the president, I would be furious. It's a tremendous insult to the true job-creators in America, entrepreneurs.
In the context of a long, somewhat rambling campaign speech that touched on every issue under the sun, it may seem as though I'm over-exaggerating the importance of a minor thing he said. But President Obama isn't a stupid man, or even one who makes off-the-cuff remarks he doesn't really mean. He's a very smart man, and he meant what he said.
When the most important issues for most Americans are economic growth and job creation, I believe it's essential to know exactly where both candidates stand on the importance of entrepreneurs. The reason for the freak figures was that scores of temperature records from Russia and elsewhere were not based on October readings at all.
