You understand, all these lawsuit shenanigans with select federal judges from Woke-crazed districts like Boston, San Francisco, Rhode Island, and the DC Beltway are aimed at provoking a second civil war. The objective is to burden Mr. Trump with so many restrictions on the executive that the country can’t be governed without declaring a national emergency.
This is the Democratic Party’s desperate strategy to stay alive: to preserve the flow of taxpayer money to its minions stuffed into the organs of government like cancer cells, and the vast network of NGOs that employ its agents and spread its sickness. The Democratic Party is a malignancy within the republic and the money is the blood-flow that feeds it. You understand, all these lawsuit shenanigans with select federal judges from Woke-crazed districts like Boston, San Francisco, Rhode Island, and the DC Beltway are aimed at provoking a second civil war.
DOGE is the chemotherapy that has starved some of the worst tumors, such as USAID. Chemotherapy is always hard on the patient. Cancer is a very tough and resourceful enemy of a healthy body, and fights back by any means available. Ultimately, it seeks to kill the body it has come to inhabit — in this case, the body-politic of the USA. We are fighting for the life of our republic against a demonic enemy.
The Democratic Party displays exactly the characteristics that human beings traditionally associate with pure evil. Above all, it lies about everything that it does. It lies, of course, in order to deceive you, so that you won’t understand how it is working to vanquish you and your posterity (your kids and their future). RussiaGate, Covid-19, the Ukraine War, all were marinated in lies. The lies operate through the perversion of language, so you won’t understand what is being said. For instance: that the Democratic Party is working to save our democracy. That howler persists in their every public performance.
The Democratic Party controls the major organs of information: The New York Times, CNN, Hollywood. They are the conveyers of lies, bamboozling the body politic to divide and conquer it. The Democratic party is a bad faith legion enlisted to defend the Father-of-Lies, America’s Deep State (a.k.a. the blob). That information regime is failing now along with the Democratic Party. The Deep State is failing with them. They are the parasites that kills its host. They intend to kill the republic as they go down.
The Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) is supposed to function like an immune system for the body politic, defending it against political sickness. The current organized action in the federal judiciary against the executive is a grave sickness induced by the Deep State that must be corrected by the SCOTUS. We await that corrective action — a sweeping decision in reply to 100-plus lawsuits — that the chief executive is in-charge of the executive department and that his prerogatives to manage the staffing and actions of the executive agencies can’t be arrogated by federal judges.
So far, obviously, the SCOTUS has not yet come to issue that decision. Many of you worry that they will fail to, because Chief Justice John Roberts appears to be somehow under the influence of the Deep State. Let’s have a look. Sheldon Snook is Special Assistant to Chief Justice Roberts, and is deeply involved in the day-to-day management of the SCOTUS. Sheldon Snook is married to Mary McCord. Ms. McCord has been a leading actor, via her various roles in the Deep State, in the seditious operations against President Trump since 2017.
As Acting Attorney General for National Security in 2017, Mary McCord, turned James Comey’s FBI jihad against National Security advisor Mike Flynn into a malicious and ultimately unsuccessful prosecution. (The DOJ dropped the charges, which Judge Emmet G. Sullivan refused to execute, thus necessitating a pardon from Mr. Trump.)
Mary McCord was instrumental in the DOJ’s dishonest FISA application to surveil Carter Page (when Judge James Boasberg sat on the FISA Court). Ms. McCord quit the DOJ to become a counsel to the committee in the first impeachment of Donald Trump. In that role, she assisted Norm Eisen, the Chief Counsel to committee Chairman, Rep. Jerrold Nadler. Norm Eisen has gone on since that time to become the chief coordinator of lawfare operations against Mr. Trump. Mary McCord remains a senior fellow of the Atlantic Council, sponsored by George and Alex Soros. Sheldon Snook remains at John Roberts’ right hand.
Do you find these connections disturbing? Do they suggest where Justice John Roberts may stand in the war between the Deep State and President Donald Trump? I suppose we are going to find out.
So, if the SCOTUS upholds the arrogation of executive powers and prerogatives by federal district judges, don’t expect Mr. Trump to roll over for that decision. It may come to pass, as per all the above, that he will be constrained to declare a national emergency to vacate the Deep State actors who are trying to make it impossible for him to govern, establishing special tribunals to disarm them. This, of course, will be seen by the Deep State and the Democratic Party as cassus belli, an excuse to declare war against the president. We seem to be headed in that direction. There will be friction, heat, and light.

A Day In The Life.

Up at 9:15a on Friday, a mild 49°F, drizzly damp morning, I upped the heat, made coffee, fired-up the Ol' Win-7 Pentium HP Desktop to let 32 million lines of code load, had a couple smokes in the garage and checked the day's list of stuff to do. I need to drive down south of York, to my CPA's offices in Dallastown, to drop-off Sis' and my tax prep paperwork, to get done. And call Sis to wish her happy birthday, today. She's now 74.
I scanned the news and weather -- low-80s coming tomorrow; too soon, too hot IMO -- drank as much coffee as I could, skipped breakfast, and left at 12:45p for the 25 mile RT, in VERY HEAVY traffic, and a stop at the ABC Store (PA's liquor store). Heavy traffic, rain in spots, but I was back by 2:15. Tomorrow is the leftist nutcases' "TESLA Takedown" day, nationwide, and it'll get ugly. I don't like EVs, but people should be free to choose their vehicles, wo/ gov't or pressure groups' undue "influence", read that as mandates/demands/penalties.
From last week's "Journal":
And get ready for it, at tomorrow's nationwide "Day of Rage" & "TESLA Takedown" against Musk's company. He got it right as to who's behind all the violence, but I wouldn't have been so courteous about it.
"Each day, I watch the news report of demented leftist scumbags, attacking the TESLA EV vehicles and dealerships -- they're just getting "tuned-up" for a Summer of rioting, looting, assaults, rapes, robberies and worse... remember the seriously-misnamed 2020 "Summer of Love"? Coming soon enough, again to our crumbling cities of liberal hell. Load those mags, FRiends."
After lunch and some minor condo chores, I took an hour's snooze, brewed more Kona Coffee, and watched the news. I switched to Discovery's "Gold Rush" until 12 midnight, and unplugged.
Up at 8:15a on Saturday, a bright, sunny morning, with temps forecast to hit 84°. I didn't bother with any heat, made coffee, scanned the news and weather websites, and tuned into some "CS Show Podcasts" to pass the morning. The lawn mowing crew started mulching around 8a, and will likely spend most of the day here, but get nowhere close to finishing all 40 units. It's going to be a very warm day, as is Sunday.
I moved the 2 lawn chairs and small teak table from the adjoining shed, onto my irregular flagstone patio, and spent time on it, enjoying the weather and smokes. (Just too early for this.) By 6p, I was watching the news, made dinner, and switched to Discovery's "Expedition X" until 11:30. Lights out.
Up at 9a on Sunday, a partly cloudy, mostly sunny, windy, 52° morning, I turned-up the heat briefly to take the chill off the condo, made coffee and had a smoke in the garage. After scanning the news and weather, I got sickened over this mental illness, all too commonplace in schools, led by far-left "teachers".
I worked on the becoming voluminous "On The Event of My..." until 11, started laundry, moved the recycle and garbage bins to the curb for morning p/u, got ready for the day, and had lunch. I did a couple errands, opened a bottle of BUTTER Chardonnay, and visited with a friend/neighbor to get caught-up on his and his wife's lives. By 6, I was back home, watching the news, having some dinner and working more on the "On The Event of My...", until 1a. That document is going to take quite a while. Lights out.
Up at 5:30a on Monday, at 0-DARK-THIRTY, a heavily-overcast, abnormally-warm 65°, with severe t-storms, wind and hail forecast. We're getting a confluence of storm fronts from the Upper Midwest and Southeast, which could get bad, so I want to get my 4 errand run today, done, back home and get the Jeep HEMI V8 into the protective garage.
I left at 11:30a, for a 4 errand trip down south of York, already 74° and forecast to hit ~80° again. Traffic was very heavy, so I didn't make great time, getting back around 2p. I unpacked, garaged the Jeep, made lunch, and spent some time on the "On The Event of My..." Document, and took a 2hr nap on the LR couch. By 6, it was getting dark, and as I could see the western sky was already black with the coming storms, I closed the condo and checked AccuWeather.com's radar maps, and the local WGAL broadcast. The thunder, lightening, wind and rain seemed to last for hours; the rain lasted past midnight. And a tornado dropped down east of us, and headed into NJ. The rain was most welcome, as we were 4" down from normal, whatever that means. I bagged it for the day at 12:30a. My cleaning lady is in at 8:30a
Up at 6a on Tuesday, a mostly clear, a "nippy" 40°, windy morning. We all are thankful for the rain last evening. JoAnne arrived and got to work. I had some Apple Fritters for breakfast, scanned the weather and news, and checked eMail. Thanks for the nice note, and kind words, ppc. Around 11a, I grabbed an hour's snooze on the LR couch, woke to find that JoAnne was done and gone, I had some lunch, and retrieved the recycle bin. I got the 2025 Property Tax bill paid -- can't get the new Canon Printer to do envelopes yet -- and worked on the "Document" all afternoon.
In case you have an "alligator problem" on your property, do what my friend, Ben, in TX, suggests: Get a Pachyderm.
After dinner, I watched the evening news, and switched to History's "Curse of Oak Island" until 12:30a, and unplugged.
Up at 8a on Wednesday, a high-overcast, very cool and breezy 37°, with only 56° forecast today -- compared to 80° yesterday. I upped the heat, made coffee, tuned into the "CP Show LIVE" and scanned the usual news and weather sites. I made Poached Eggs In a Bowl w/ Toast for breakfast, which I haven't done in a while. Mmmmmmmmm good. My CPA calked and emailed the PA State Income Tax Return voucher, for $600, and I wrote the check right away, took it and the Twp Property Tax envelope to the nearby USPS Offices, and got them into the system. After some lunch, I did some computer work on the "Document", grabbed a short nap as it clouded-over, and checked the weather forecast maps. The South's getting hammered hard, and we're going to get some tomorrow afternoon/ evening.
I skipped dinner, watched the news, and alternated between The Weather Channel updates, and Discovery's "Expedition Unknown". By 11:30p, I was nodding-off, and bagged it for the night.
Up at 8a on Thursday, a rainy, windy, 51° with last night's deadly tornado weather -- sans tornadoes -- moving up and thru our area. I tuned into the "CP Show LIVE", had some Bacon, Egg & Cheese Toast (BC&E Bread from Flinchbaugh's), and relaxed. Sherry would be here around 1p. I worked on the now 6-part "Document" until late morning, Sherry called to reschedule today to tomorrow, I had some lunch and kept working on the paperwork, while listening to new on Talk Radio. By 1p, it was already 74° and still climbing. Too warm, too early, for the flora and fauna, IMO.
No TV time today; just working and re-working the (now) 6 sections, on "The Document", all day. I had some dinner, and went back to my HP Desktop, for news, in addition to the MS-Word "Doc", until 11:30p. Lights out.
Tomorrow starts a new week here in the 'Journal', and it's clear for me. Hopefully, Sherry will be feeling better tomorrow, enough so to make a visit here. Works fine for me.
This Is the Strongest Case for Trump's Tariffs I've Heard Yet.
Donald Trump’s tariff policies remain a lightning rod for debate. Democrats are sounding the alarm, warning of dire economic fallout and painting a picture of looming catastrophe.
Batya Ungar-Sargon, deputy opinion editor of Newsweek, made one of the strongest, most effective cases yet for former President Donald Trump’s tariffs during the latest episode of “Real Time with Bill Maher.” She broke down exactly why these tariffs are necessary, and by the end, she left Bill Maher flustered.
Ungar-Sargon’s explanation couldn’t have been clearer: manufacturing jobs and economic nationalism are crucial for the American middle class.
When the conversation turned to the economy of the 1970s, Ungar-Sargon wasted no time explaining why so many Americans look back on that era with nostalgia. “In the ‘70s, the largest share of our GDP was in the middle class,” she said. “And that was not separate from the fact that 25% of our economy was in manufacturing.”
Maher sought clarification, asking if that meant “most of what was produced came from the middle, and now it comes from the rich.”
“Now, the top 20% controls over 50% of the GDP,” Ungar-Sargon confirmed, highlighting how economic power has been funneled away from the working class. “That manufacturing is still being done; it’s just being done in other countries.”
Maher interjected, noting that the jobs have moved overseas for “wages we will not work for.”
This, of course, is true, but it also proved Ungar-Sargon’s point.
“Yes, that’s exactly right. You’re right, Bill,” Ungar-Sargon responded. “That’s what the tariffs are for. They are to make American workers more competitive in the global market.” She then challenged the defeatist attitude that has allowed China to dominate industries once vital to the American workforce. “Why are we accepting that there should be a race to the bottom? You know, China, what is its competitive advantage over us? It’s that it pays slave wages. Why should we accept that?”
She laid out Trump’s argument for protecting key industries, explaining that his trade policies aren’t just about economics but national security. “Trump says there are five industries that we cannot have any kind of national security without having a stake in them—pharmaceuticals, lumber, steel, aluminum,” she said, adding that she had momentarily forgotten the fifth. “These are really important, that we have a stake in the manufacturing of the things that we need as a nation. So that when China decides that it wants to go to war against us, we’re not relying on them for steel and aluminum in order to fight them.”
Maher, clearly caught off guard by the well-reasoned argument, could only muster a flustered response: “Okay, well, at least that’s an answer.”
And it was an answer—one the left refuses to confront, because deep down, they know she’s right. Maher certainly seemed to. He had no rebuttal. Why? Because there isn’t one.

Elon Musk, DOGE to review 'strangely wealthy' federal lawmakers.
During his town hall event in Wisconsin on Sunday, Elon Musk said that he and the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) were going to review those in Congress who are "strangely wealthy."
"There’s a lot of strangely wealthy members of Congress," Musk told the crowd at the event held ahead of the state’s Supreme Court election.
Musk said he was "trying to connect the dots of how did they become rich while earning— how did they get $20 million if they’re earning $200,000 a year?"
"Nobody can explain that," Musk continued. "We’re going to try to figure it out and certainly stop it from happening."
There’s a lot of strangely wealthy members of CongressAmong the wealthiest members of Congress are former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, whose net worth is around $250 million, and Senator Rick Scott, whose net worth is around $552 million. The former’s wealth has largely come from investments she and her husband, Paul Pelosi, have made into companies like Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, and Google, while the latter gained much of his fortune before entering Congress by co-founding HCA Healthcare, which runs Florida hospitals and healthcare facilities, and Solantic, a chain of urgent care clinics, per the New York Post.
In January, Democrat Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez raised concerns about insider trading in Congress. "There needs to be Democrats who walk the walk and talk the talk. There is an insane amount of hypocrisy, and the hypocrisy is what gets exploited to use the cynicism and wherever there’s a hypocritical window. For example, I think one of the biggest examples of this is insider trading in Congress."
Ocasio-Cortez and others have called for a ban on elected officials trading stocks to prevent insider trading, and in January, bipartisan legislation was reintroduced to ban such a thing from happening, the TRUST in Congress Act.
This is the latest review for potential waste for fraud undertaken by Elon Musk and DOGE since the Trump administration entered office in January. As of Monday afternoon, DOGE’s tracker website states that there have been an estimated savings of $140 billion made so far by the department, with thousands of contracts, grants, and leases being terminated, including funding for climate change initiatives in Peru and gender equity programs in Mexico.
