'm beyond disgusted with Thursday's events. The GOPer Cowards didn't take Life to the edge; they couldn't handle the confrontation. The Florida Republicans were cowards. Empty suits. They caved at the precise moment they were needed to refute, rebut and repel the out-of-control, murderous, liberal-demokkkRAT-nazi judiciary, and save a helpless woman's life. The liberal-demokkkRATs, the Party of Death — abortion, Planned Parenthood, euthanasia, mercy-killing — is quite proud that they "won". The putrid stench of secular liberalism is all over this innocent's outright murder. Sleep easy America: they're coming for you, next.
Around The Garden Center™.
It was a quiet Easter Weekend for me, as we're still on Winter Hours, but we switched over to Spring-Summer-Fall Hours on Monday, and will be open again on Sunday afternoons. I slept-in until about 10am, went down to the GC&N Complex to feed Pickle, then over to Mom & Dad's to have Easter Sunday Dinner with them and Becky.
Becky got the "24hr flu" on Saturday, Dad on Sunday, I on Monday and Mom on Tuesday. All in all, it was a crappy weekend and week for The Shelleys. Yeeeeeeeeeeewwwwww; it was an awful 48hrs!
It's been a long two weeks getting this 20ac complex ready for the 15th Open House, but we've done it. All is ready for tomorrow's festivities. Many physical changes were made to the grounds' layout, and we've got a full house of unusual, rare and hard-to-find nursery stock, Japanese Maples, perennials and other speciality plant material. I expect 1,500+ people through, and if I find some time to shoot some pics, I'll post them next week.
Yes, I vote for a National Sales Tax, or a simple Flat Tax.
Someone in your life whom you don't like? Send them a Fecal-Gram.
What the — Former GOPer Invents Fox News Blocker —
fuck heck? Somebody ripped-off my trademarked phrase! Yawn. I've been saying THAT for many years; think (((they're ))) reading this "Journal"? YUP.
Thanks for trying, Gov Bush, but you should have ordered troops in to secure Terri. Screw the frigging courts.
Yes, get rid of US Sen Jim "I Hate America" Jeffords (TRAITOR-VT).
The US-Mexican border is a terror risk? Is someone finally waking up in DC?
Which way do you lean politically? Here's a test to help you find out. And here's an even shorter test.
When some shit-for-brains lib-dem piece of garbage tries to make the argument that "guns kill", throw this article back into their ugly, socialist faces.
The liberal-demokkkRAT, lowlife homo filth in the Boyd County, Kentucky, Board of Education, are going down hard.
Another untalented, intellectually vacuous lefty "actress" — Glenn Close — "retires"... am I supposed to give a flying rat's rearend?
Lowlife, Subhuman Filth.
Amid the sound of blaring car stereos, more than 350 black people packed the sidewalks of West Atlantic Avenue (Delray Beach, FL) Sunday night to demand the city create more entertainment and allow them to gather there on a regular basis. Dumbass lowlife, subhuman garbage, all of them.
Good bye and good riddance to Johnny "I Hate Whitey" Cochran, who died from a brain tumor. Strange cause of death from a bigoted, racist man who didn't have a rational, functioning brain. Rot in hell, Cockroach.
Rapper-crapper impresario Marion "Suge" Knight has been ordered to pay $107 million to a woman who claimed she helped found his ground-breaking music label, Death Row Records, before being pushed out when Knight realized how valuable the label was. Yawn; jail the subhuman garbage.
Some People Just Need Killing™.
Subhuman, lowlife, murderous piece of filth, Steven K. Staley, 42 needs killing, but Texas' highest appeals court stopped the scheduled execution Wednesday of the scumbag about five hours before he could have been put to death, in the 1989 slaying of a restaurant manager. Ruined my week.
The man charged with killing 9-year-old Jessica Lunsford confessed in 1991 that he tried to molest a 5-year-old girl, telling police "I need help", according to a tape obtained by CNN. The suspect, 46-year-old John Evander Couey, was charged this week with capital murder, burglary with battery, kidnapping and sexual battery on a child younger than 12. No, he needs killing.
Self-confessed screenshotpen geek Richard C. Conner invites you to dip into his vast collection of old fountain pens. Ballpoint users may not be familiar with the rich history of the pen. In the 1880s, Lewis Waterman invented the first fountain pens, and we've taken our written thoughts to go ever since. If you would collect vintage pens yourself, the pages on pen construction and troubleshooting will come in handy. See how to fill that classic 1942 Sheaffer Vac-Fil, a Waterman #42 Safety Pen circa 1920, or an unusual 1918 Conklin 20p ringtop. If pens are your passion, take the quiz to see just how big of a pen geek you are. This panoply of pens is a testament to pre-computer communications.
