for a long time, as much as I wanted to see Barry Otraitor gone, I opposed the idea of Congress attempting to impeach him. I figured that with the Senate in the hands of Harry Reid, nothing would come of it. What's more, when it was attempted with Clinton, he came out at the other end more popular than ever, a martyr in the eyes of the Left.
After the past month's NSA PRISM scandal after US-UK privacy scandal and media leaks scandal after IRS targeting Conservatives scandal involving the NSA and the 0scumbag Regime, the well-hidden HHS records scandal, the newly-discovered State Dept cover-up scandal, the newly-uncovered illegal stock trading spike scandal and this illegal private gov't email scandal, I'm rapidly moving from being "uncomfortable hosting my data in a US-controlled cloud" to "screaming for impeachment, conviction, prison" for all involved.
But I no longer care about the end result. I want Obama to go through the process because he has it coming. In totalitarian states, after all, the people have no other recourse except to take to the streets and spill blood. But we have available the process of impeachment, and Obama should be forced to defend his contemptible lies and actions.

Some of the things this administration does are so dumb that you might imagine they're auditioning for a sit com on ABC. For instance, in the midst of the IRS scandal, a scandal so pernicious that even some Democrats are calling it scandalous, we discover that the woman, Sarah Hall Ingram, who was heading up the division that targeted conservative groups and individuals for the sort of hell that only the IRS can dole out is – drumroll, please! – the very person Oshithead has selected to make sure that ObamaCare is enforced, with drawing-and-quartering optional.
To be fair, we have been assured that Ms. Ingram is a "superb civil servant". Unfortunately, the person who gave her that ringing endorsement is the former acting head of IRS, Steven Miller, who, when last seen, was lying through his teeth to a congressional committee.

I know I'm coming across as something of a "meanie", and I should probably temper my remarks because I have been provided with so many laughs by these assorted inept, incompetent goofballs, I am clearly in their debt. For instance, I actually heard a spokesperson for the IRS say that the targeting of Conservative groups prior to the 2012 election had nothing to do with politics. I haven't heard anything that funny since "The Princess Bride". Mainly, it reminds me of the scene when the comic villain Vizzini (Wallace Shawn) kept responding to one unpleasant fact after another by sputtering "Inconceivable!" Eventually, his reluctant henchman , Inigo Montoya (Mandy Patinkin), has had enough and says, "I don't think that word means what you think it means".
In a sane world, wouldn't someone who denied the targeting by the IRS had anything to do with politics be compelled, by force if necessary, to suggest an alternative explanation? Coincidence, perhaps? Sun spots? Or maybe just one of those crazy things.
As I wrote years ago, I was against "The Patriot Act" because the inevitable abuses being foreshadowed should have been OBVIOUS to anyone who understands the propensities of human beings and centralized government. The very name itself, the fact that they had to call it "The Patriot Act" was a dead giveaway that the authors knew damned well they had to deceive in order to sell it. It screams WARNING.
Oddly, when GW Bush was pushing that legal disaster upon us, I recall all of the outraged demokkkRATs crying and whining, "They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety". (-Benjamin Franklin). Suddenly, for the first (and last) time, they were quoting the Founding Fathers of this country with an agenda other than the complete distortion of American history. They were so passionate then about right to privacy. Where are they now? This just proves once again that the only so-called "liberties" that matter to them, the only liberties that matter to Andrea Mitchell, Barbara Walters, David Gregory, Brian Williams, Chris Matthews and the rest of the Obummer pawns at NBC, ABC, CBS, MSNBC and CBS are – killing babies and gay sex.
Only in the world of fiction would I expect to encounter a president, an attorney general and a former secretary of state, so eager to claim that on all of these major issues, one involving the massacre of four Americans, including an ambassador, they were simply "out-of-the-loop".

A Day In The Life
After another crappy night of "weird dreams", I woke-up at 5:30am on Friday, still raining and 57°F, reached over to turn on the bedside cube-table light, and the 60w bulb blew-out. I stumbled around to the other lamp, got that on, and changed the bulb in the bedside lamp. Damn. After some cold water in my face, I went downstairs, unarmed the Condo, turned-on the kitchen lights, and two bulbs blew-out: one recessed ceiling (75w flood) and the other over the sink (60w), also recessed. I changed both of those. Crap, what a morning. After that, I made coffee, Fresh-Squeezed OJ w/ lots of pulp, and had Eggs Benedict Florentine w/ Hash Browns, for breakfast. I scanned the weather and new sites, and saw that Tropical Storm Andrea was nearly into our area, with If you're concerned about search engine companies stealing and sharing your personal information, these companies don't. 2-3" of rain forecast. I started the dishwasher with a full load, and the left-side seal started leaking all over the kitchen floor, and I used 5 rolls of paper towels to dry it out. Great start to the
I made an Olive Loaf Sandwich and a bowl of Chicken Noodle Soup for lunch, tuned into live streaming on Rush's website, and at 12:14pm, everything went dark. Met-Ed/First Energy Co had a massive power outage, which took 5,000+ people offline until 2:10pm. It did play havoc with my Choice One® Security Services System back-up battery and long-range radio: both need service now and I'll call tomorrow to set-up a tech visit next week. No explanation, and Tropical Storm Andrea wasn't at fault. Winds at 45/60mph gusts and 3-7" rainfall were steady, but mostly to the east of us, and too minimal for that kind of damage. No explanation in the local media or at the power company's website. Still a mystery to all of us.
Anyway, the rain continued all afternoon, with the Condo garden's rain gauge reading 1½", so far. I listened to some missed Podcasts of the Bob Durgin Show, and Chris Plante Show, while working on the Condo 3rd Qtr Budget. The Mark Levin Show came on, from 6-9pm. I need to go thru the kitchen fridge's freezer, and inventory it, as I've done with the top-loading Kenmore Top-Loader 13.0 CuFt Freezer in the garage. I packed it in around 10pm; tomorrow's another day.
Finally, a peaceful and calm night's sleep. I got-up at 5am on Saturday, to a cloudy, humid and cool 63°F, with 78-80°F forecast, as southern air and humidity pours northward following
I worked a couple of hours, at the basement workbench, cleaning/oiling one of my Remington shotguns: the Remy® 11-87 Versa®-Max Tactical Semi-Automatic 12ga, inventorying some 7,500 various rounds of "loose ammo" in boxes of 20 and 50, making new Avery Labels on my printer, and re-boxing them for the basement ammo shelves. By 6pm, I'd had enough, came up and went for a 15-min walk around the block. There were some missed Mark Levin Show Rewinds, to listen to until 10pm, and since I had to get up early, I quit for the night.
Sunday morning was another cool, 57°F, cloudy morning, when I woke at 5:30. I made coffee, had some Del Monte® Mandarin Oranges and made "Stuffed Hash Browns" for breakfast. After feeding the birds, I scanned the weather and news sites. More t-storms, muggy, low-80s; typical late-Spring/early-Summer weather, but at least no more tropical storms and tornadoes, for now. I checked the Back-Up/Restore Schedule, walked over to the CHCA Mailbox to get the week's mail, warmed-up the Jeep, and left for Weis Market at 8am. I was thru with my list and out in 20 mins, went home and unpacked. I called Dad around
I continued working on touching-up the kitchen cabinets with the Minwax® Blend-Fil Pencil #2 Natural I'd bought, using-up 2½ of them on various wear areas, chips, scratches, dings and cat claw marks. It would cost $7-8,000 to replace all the 23-yr old cabinets (counter is in perfect condition), and now they're looking new again. Several of the cabinets' door hinges are loose, but I can easily remedy that with an old BSA Home Repairs Merit Badge trick: break-off a small piece of wooden matchstick, jam it in the hole, and re-screw the hinge into the cabinet frame. Again, just like new; nice and tight doors. Sweet. I sat out on the front porch for a while, feeding the birds and my tree's grey squirrel, and came in around 8, to listen to Gun Talk Radio, on its usual several-hour-delayed Sunday evening stream, from 8-11pm. I'll try to sleep-in a bit later tomorrow.
The thunder and rain on the Condo's skylights woke me at 6:30am on Monday. T-storms were passing thru the area, 68°F, warm and muggy. I made coffee, OJ and had some Rye Bread Toast w/ Keller's® Butter for breakfast. After scanning the weather and news sites, I went upstairs, stripped the bed, started the 1st load of laundry, grabbed a shower, and came back down to keep working on the kitchen cabinets' touch-ups, while listening to the morning's Chris Plante Show on (WMAL-DC), from 9-12. It was pouring outside and the street gutters and storm drains were overflowing on to the lawn areas.
A ***TORNADO WATCH*** and ***SEVERE THUNDERSTORM ALERT*** and ***AREAL FLOOD WATCH*** were issued at 1pm, in effect until 10pm, tonite! Holy crap! The rain gauge already had a fresh 1¼" in it, just from last evening, when I'd emptied it. I had multiple weather website windows open in Opera, and was keeping an eye peeled for any touchdowns, so I could alert Dad, family and some friends. I
I finished the dreaded laundry, re-made the bed, and made a Ham & Swiss on Rye Sandwich and Steamed Cabbage Rolls for lunch. It was a good day to stay inside and spend some time "house cleaning" the main HD (hard drive), my 3 WD® "My Book" 2Tb External Drives, plus my 4 Cruzer® 32Gb Flashdrives. By 6pm, the Mark Levin Show was on, with a sub-host, but I listened anyway until 9. I stayed-up to monitor the 3 weather warnings, in case I'd have to start making calls, or get into the Jeep to go somewhere, in case of a tornado strike. By 10:15pm, all danger had passed and the warnings were down. I have to get-up early to get to Dad's to work on greasing/lubing 2 of his 4 garage door tracks, while my 2 cleaning ladies are there.
I woke at 4:30 on Tuesday, rolled over and went back to sleep until 6:30am. Damn, I needed to get-up by 6, to get a whole list of projects started at Dad's. Late last night, as I closed down, I just got the email from Becky that all her stuff from her just-sold home, would be arriving via moving co, between July 7-16th, and all of a sudden, there were a pile of things to get ready to receive and store it, plus the list I already had ongoing for Dad. 79°F and very humid. I left at 8:30, and the two cleaning ladies were already there. I found a can of CRC Lithium Grease in his garage, and after re-watching the YT video, I backed his Jeep out, swept both garages, and lubed 2 of the 4 garage doors. The 3rd door's motor needs service or replacement, and the 4th door is never used, so I held-off on lubing those two units, for now. I finished-up and left to run some errands before the cleaning ladies came to my place. I was home by 11:30am.

I slept-in until 7am on Wednesday, 68°F and sunny; looked to be a nice day. I made coffee, OJ and Soft-Boiled Eggs w/ Toast in a bowl, checked the new and weather sites. Some violent weather, called a Derecho was forecast to hit us later in the day and thru the evening. We'd had one last June, which did tremendous damage in a 700-mile swath. I needed to get over to Dad's and get his old 2007 Nokia 6085 "Clamshell" cellphone set-up correctly, since he still can't receive calls, after all these years, without a proper voicemail account set-up. I left at 9:30, picked him up and went to the AT&T Retail Store in North York, where they tried to help us. Not being a larger "company store", they could only add the voicemail option on his mobile phone account, but couldn't activate it. From there, we drove to the West York's Manchester Mall's AT&T Company Store, where they had full access to the AT&T System, and where a guy named Devon set it up, Dad did his voicemail recording, and could now receive calls, messages and notifications. Finally, after 6yrs of only being able to make calls. I also called a sealcoating company and they promised to come out and give an estimate for Dad's driveway and parking pads. They did; two other companies didn't. Screw them.
I dropped Dad off at 12, took care of a couple of errands and headed home. I had a Grilled Cheese, Ham & Tomato Soup and Onion Rings for lunch. Storms were already building in Western PA, and were

Thunder woke me at 6am on Thursday, but strangely, no rain yet. I logged-on the computer and went right to the weather websites: ***SEVERE THUNDERSTORM ALERT*** and ***AREAL FLOOD WATCH*** were posted for Harrisburg, PA, Philadelphia, Washington, DC, Baltimore and vicinity southeastward to The Delmarva Peninsula, Richmond, Norfolk and southward into northeast NC, on all of them, and the storm was just west of the Gettysburg-York area, ready to slam into us. I made coffee and OJ, skipped breakfast, just had some Rye Bread Toast w/ Keller's® Butter, and stayed glued to the weather and new sites, to catch-up on what damage it did, overnight in IL, IN, and OH. I decided to stay-inside for the next few hours, until it all passed thru the area; the Jeep was safely in the garage, in case the predicted ½-¾" hail came down. The ***SEVERE THUNDERSTORM ALERT*** and ***AREAL FLOOD WATCH*** were extended until 9am, and it was getting darker and darker, and dead still outside, as the front approached. It finally slammed into the York area just after 9:30am, with 60-75mph winds, horizontal rain and some hail. I watched from the front door, as the gutters and storm drains backed-up and overflowed into the streets and lawns, temps dropped fast, and the lights flickered. So much for the Derecho; it turned-out just to be t-storms and no big deal or damage in the area. I left for Dad's around 9:45am. We spent almost 2hrs installing 5 window frame steel security pins, but ran 3 short to finish all of the downstairs windows, so I ordered 5 additional from an online supplier. We'll finish the job with the remaining 1st floor windows when the new units arrive. It was too wet to do any outside work, and more t-storms were on the way. I left at 12:15pm, and went home for the day, to get some aspirin for my hip pain. I made a Braunschweiger, Cheese & Onions on Rye and Deviled Eggs, for lunch. All but the local flood warning had been taken off the weather sites, and MD-DC was getting hammered by 4 tornadoes.
I grabbed a 2hr snooze on the LR couch, while some more t-storm cells blew thru the area, got-up at 4 and worked on another kitchen cabinet touch-up area, with the Minwax® Blend-Fil Pencil #2 Natural. I'd taken 3 other pencils of varying colors over to Dad's, to work on some of his vintage Ethan Allen Furniture nicks, scratches and dings, later. The Mark Levin Show came on from 6-9pm, and I called it a week at 9:30. Tomorrow starts a new week here in the "Journal", and I've got to get Dad's remaining outside landscape work finished, and go over to a friend's home in York, to help her with some projects. Weather permitting, of course.

Obama: "Entrepreneurs Don't Build Businesses"
"Last week, President Barack Obama delivered some telling remarks to a fire station full of people in Roanoke, Virginia. I'll save you the trouble of reading the (long and uninspired) speech and provide you with the most interesting part:
"If you've got a business – you didn't build that. Somebody else made that happen." – President Barack Obama, July 13th, 2012.
It would be easy to respond with something along the lines of, "Somebody else made that happen? Who? Who magically imagined the product or service, started the business, built it up, and created the jobs? Who was it? The tooth fairy?" And to some extent, President Obama's statement is so ridiculous as to merit that sort of quick, flippant response.

However, he's not entirely wrong. This reminds me of an argument that Massachusetts Senate Democratic candidate Elizabeth Warren would probably make. If he's talking about a mid-sized or large business, where an entrepreneur has hired additional employees, then at that point the business's success isn't purely that of its founder.
Employees add value to a business through work and ideas. That's why you hire employees, after all. Steve Jobs didn't invent every last detail of the phones, computers, and tablets to come out of Apple over the last decade. There were engineers working on those products who developed them. So, employees help entrepreneurs to build their business. "Somebody else" did indeed play a part in making that happen.
But what makes the president's remarks so inane is the totality of what he's saying. He's not saying that entrepreneurs and employees work together to build a business. It's not a collaborative effort. It's all thanks to the employees. Usually, I can understand the way the president's mind works on most issues by examining it through a pragmatic, liberal, or progressive framework. This one baffles me.
As I explained, I can see that he has some of a point, but he's still just obviously wrong on the broader point. Sure, the employees help to build the business, but the business itself wouldn't exist without the entrepreneur. So, to say to entrepreneurs and to business owners, "...you didn't build that. Somebody else made that happen," is just wrong. It's silly. They did build that by setting the foundation for the business.
Entrepreneurs are almost always the hardest workers in their business. They work a simply insane number of hours to get their idea off the ground. If they succeed (and they face a tremendous risk if they don't), then they'll start to grow and to hire employees to help. Honestly, if I were an entrepreneur and I read those remarks by the president, I would be furious. It's a tremendous insult to the true job-creators in America, entrepreneurs.
In the context of a long, somewhat rambling campaign speech that touched on every issue under the sun, it may seem as though I'm over-exaggerating the importance of a minor thing he said. But President Obama isn't a stupid man, or even one who makes off-the-cuff remarks he doesn't really mean. He's a very smart man, and he meant what he said.
When the most important issues for most Americans are economic growth and job creation, I believe it's essential to know exactly where both candidates stand on the importance of entrepreneurs. It's not my intentions to be the judge here — that's God's "job" — but rather to "hasten the meeting" so that He can send the following subhuman filth to the "Fires of Hell", "River or Lake of Sulphur", or whatever He deems appropriate. Society's innocents — our precious, defenseless children and the frail, defenseless elderly — must be protected from predators, murderers, rapists, robbers and other subhuman filth, at all times and at any cost, IMO.
The 6th Commandment actually says: "Thou Shalt Not Murder". It does NOT say, "Thou Shalt Not Kill." I personally don't consider any summary-execution — except by subhuman, murderous muslim/islamic pigshit — as murder, in any way, shape or form. It's "Due-Justice-For-Crimes-On-This-Earth", IMO.
