The Dr's appt went well, but they were so overbooked, and had several emergencies, that I had a 1hr wait. No problem. I was back home by 1:15p, made a Ham & Swiss on Rye Sandwich, pasta salad and Talenti Gelato for lunch, and tuned into some podcasts of the morning's missed "CP Show". Lunch and dessert made me so tired, I laid down for 2hrs, rather than go out for a walk in the *unhealthy air*. Nice nap. It took me a while to fully 'wake-up', but I had some things to do to get ready for the coming evening. I called Sherry to make plans for next week, and I'll check back in with her over the weekend.

Still full from the late and large lunch, I skipped dinner, had a few smokes and iced teas on the back patio, and at dark (8:40p), got out of the "campfire smelling air" from Canada. I watcxhed some TV until 11:30, and called it quits for the night.

Tomorrow starts a new week here in the "Journal", and it's a totally clear one for me. Nada. Sherry and I have 2 days together, and maybe we'll do somethoing other than walking; perhaps a road trip or something.

U.S. Navy Heard What It Believed Was Titan Implosion Days Ago.

The Biden regime KNEW days ago the Titan and all aboard were dead on Sunday..but they pushed the whole “We hear pinging sounds” nonsense to deflect attention from Hunter and the info we found out today.

A top secret military acoustic detection system designed to spot enemy submarines first heard what the U.S. Navy suspected was the Titan submersible implosion hours after the submersible began its voyage, officials involved in the search said.

The Navy began listening for the Titan almost as soon as the sub lost communications, according to a U.S. defense official. Shortly after the submersible’s disappearance Sunday, the U.S. system detected what it suspected was the sound of an implosion near the debris site discovered Thursday and reported its findings to the Coast Guard commander on site, U.S. defense officials said.

While the Navy couldn’t say definitively the sound came from the Titan, the discovery played a role in narrowing the scope of the search for the vessel before its debris was discovered Thursday, the officials said.

“The U.S. Navy conducted an analysis of acoustic data and detected an anomaly consistent with an implosion or explosion in the general vicinity of where the Titan submersible was operating when communications were lost,” a senior U.S. Navy official told The Wall Street Journal in a statement. “While not definitive, this information was immediately shared with the Incident Commander to assist with the ongoing search and rescue mission.”

WHILE WE WERE WATCHING AIRPORTS, ISLAMIC TERRORISTS WON OUR CHILDREN.

Cole James Bridges went to a high school in Clarkesville, Tennessee and worked at a Papa Johns pizza place near Akron, Ohio before joining the United States Army. Mateo Ventura was a high school student in Wakefield, Massachusetts.

Within a week of each other in June 2023, Bridges pled guilty to plotting to help ISIS kill American soldiers, while Ventura was arrested for trying to provide aid to the Islamic State.

Bridges and Ventura, 20 and 18 years old, like Trevor Bickford, 19, of Maine, who was hit with federal charges this year for attacking NYPD police officers with a machete in Times Square, and Xavier Pelkey, 18, also of Maine, who pled guilty in April after trying to recruit two underage teens for a terrorist attack in Chicago, show the rate at which ordinary American teens are converting to Islam and plotting terrorist attacks.

While we made everyone take their shoes off at the airport and labored to win hearts and minds in Afghanistan and Iraq, Islamic terrorists won the hearts and minds of our children.

Our national security establishment feverishly imagined vast Al Qaeda attack plots while ignoring the real attack. An attack so deep and so wounding that it is far more devastating than September 11. It was an attack aided and abetted by the government, our cultural establishment and entertainment industries which urged Americans to learn about and embrace Islam.

Teenagers like Bridges, Ventura, Bickford, Pelkey and many others did. While Muslim immigrants still make up a significant percentage of Islamic terror plots, they increasingly come from American teenagers who converted to Islam. And, unlike past Muslim terror converts who followed a familiar path from drug dealing to prison to terrorism, these are our boys.

Except they’re not ours anymore.

Bridges lyrically spoke of the Islamic terrorists of ISIS as “brothers who have been fighting to establish a khilafah” or caliphate, and “have inspired me a lot, they’re (sic) love for Allah.”

Ventura wanted to fight a “war on kuffar” or non-Muslims.

Bickford carried an Islamic text and had underlined the words, “fight in the Name of Allah and in the Cause of Allah. Fight against those who do not believe in Allah. Wage a holy war.” He wrote in his journal that he wanted a traditional Muslim burial and did not want to be buried “in the land of the kuffar”. If he died while killing Americans, he did not want to be laid to rest in America.

Pelkey, who changed his name to Abdullah, wrote that he wanted to “burst thru the door of Jihad in america and strike fear in the hearts of these kafirun nothing pisses these american kuffar off and scares em more than a term they use ‘homegrown terrorist.’”

Their plans for Islamic mass murder, Bridges wanted to attack the 9/11 memorial, Pelkey was going to burst into a synagogue separate the adults from the children, and then kill the adults, have received what little attention a broken country has to spare for the kind of story that people don’t even pay attention to anymore. We are so busy fighting each other that we hardly even look up when the next generation converts to Islam and signs up with Al Qaeda or ISIS.

Americans used to associate Islamic converts with black nationalist groups, but this is no longer the case. Latinos, like Bridges (raised by a stepfather, his mother’s last name was Gonzalez), are the fastest growing population of converts, but a quarter of converts to Islam are white.

In the UK, young white Muslim converts like 19-year-old Matthew King, whose mother turned him in after an attack plot on British soldiers, or Lewis Ludlow, who changed his name to Ali Hussain and pled guilty to scouting out targets like St Paul’s Cathedral and Madame Tussauds, are also becoming more commonplace.

There are certain common denominators among Muslim converts as there are among school shooters. Bickford was being raised by a stepfather while Ventura had been bullied in school. Bickford’s father had died of a drug overdose, and Pelkey was living with his mother and an autistic younger brother.

Like most cults, the new mosque recruits are lost and looking for somewhere to belong. Missing fathers and a general sense of alienation are a common theme. America no longer provides a sense of identity and even institutions like the U.S. Army don’t offer any real purpose. Falling through the spreading cracks of an imploding culture, they join gangs, movements and Islam.

What too few Americans understood after the September 11 attacks was that this was a culture war. Foreign Muslim terrorists could kill us by the thousands and perhaps even one day the hundreds of thousands, but even at expanding immigration rates it would take generations for them to demographically conquer us. Unlike Europe, America has a more robust birth rate, in part because of migration from south of the border. We would have to conquer ourselves.

The Bush administration responded to 9/11 with an ambitious effort to democratize the Muslim world, unaware and uncaring of the Muslim world’s parallel effort to Islamize America. The withdrawal from Afghanistan, like the failure of the Arab Spring and the rise of ISIS, collapsed the project to democratize the Muslim world. But the Islamization of America is succeeding.

What does Islam offer that we don’t? Patriarchy for fatherless boys, the illusion of belonging to a global Islamic Ummah, the promise of a system of moral order with the creation of the Caliphate, and the escape from a culture that no longer stands for much except comic book movies and politics.

Pop culture and politics have become the religions of a declining nation. In the midst of the culture war, many Americans from both sides have developed hostility and contempt for their own country. Others retreat to imaginary pop culture universes to debate the ins and outs of their devotion to Marvel, Star Wars or Taylor Swift with the intensity once reserved for theology.

Americans are becoming less patriotic and religious and the falloff is most pronounced among the young. It is no coincidence that Islamic recruitment of American teens is booming in areas where traditional organized religion is declining. Is it surprising that Maine, the third least religious state where barely a quarter described themselves as Christians, produced two Islamic terror converts? A decade ago, only 34% of people in the state believed religion was very important. But just because people abandon traditional churches, doesn’t mean that teenagers and twenty-somethings will give up on religion. They will find people who really believe.

And the Jihad really believes.

We are not just losing the military and demographic wars, but the even more important cultural war. America’s political and cultural establishment embraced Islam. And this is the result.

All the episodes of ‘24’ envisioning complicated plots of mass murder were off the mark. What happened instead was that the plotters got on planes, landed and moved here. They set up mosques and schools, they became reporters, executives and members of congress. Like their leftist allies, they fought the war from the inside and we did not so much lose as surrender.

A generation of young men, born after 9/11 and the end of the War on Terror, were urged to learn about Islam, the way they’re encouraged to learn about sex changes. Some castrated themselves and pretended to be women, others joined ISIS instead.

When life looks senseless and meaningless, each day filled with mechanical routines and hollow entertainments, the human soul needs to reach for something that promises more.

America is not becoming irreligious, it is losing its religions and finding new gods. Some of those gods tell their followers to kill the infidels, attack the 9/11 memorial and kill until America is Islamic.

As we take off our shoes at the airport, a new generation is losing its soul.

The Bottom of The Slippery Slope.

The long ordeal of Pride Month is almost at a close, but this festival would not be truly complete without prominent figures advancing the argument for child sexualization. Adults exposing themselves to random children on the street is de jure illegal; those who do so are criminals who should receive a prison sentence and a spot on the sex offender registry.

Until a few years ago, this was the obvious and unspoken consensus across America. No discussion on the issue was needed; perverts who waved their genitals at children went to jail and were viewed with scorn for the rest of their lives. Very little discussion was had on the issue, and no indecent exposure laws were really changed, but America finds itself in a place where proudly flashing a crowd full of children has been de facto legalized.

Police now stand idly by as grown men enthusiastically display themselves to the public while confused children look on, hoping that some adult will recognize the absurdity of the situation. Officers ignore the law, knowing better than to disrupt a state-sanctioned religious festival, and simply allow the public abuse and grooming to unfold. Doing otherwise would mean immediate personal and professional destruction for an officer or deputy who made the mistake of intervening. America has arrived at a very dark but entirely predictable place, paying the cost of apathy and decadence with the innocence of its own children.

At a Pride parade in Seattle over the weekend, a group of nude adults rode bicycles in the middle of the street as they waved giddily at a crowd full of children. Twitter accounts like Libs of Tiktok and the Post Millennial broke the story, including video of the shocking event, and the response from progressives was rather telling.

The left was outraged, not at the adults who had exposed themselves to children, but at the conservative media outlets that had dared to reveal what actually happened to minors in one of America’s largest cities. Attorney and progressive pundit Ron Filipkowski tweeted out, “As I said when Pride Month began, the Right uses this stuff to win elections and then pass laws and appoint judges to take away your rights.” "Star Trek" actor and outspoken activist George Takei quickly replied, “Even if there were no naked guys on bikes this year, they would find picture or generate them and push the same agenda anyway. There’s no 'fixing' this by calling for self-censoring.” The horrific honesty of this exchange is stunning. It would seem that grown men exposing themselves to children is not the real problem; it is, in fact, a right and a form of self-expression.

Takei characterized covering one’s genitals as self-censorship, which can only lead to one question: Why does he see getting naked in front of a crowd full of children as an essential expression of LGBTQ identity? The implication is that this activity is both normal and encouraged at Pride events and was only being curtailed due to concerns about optics now that minors are regularly in attendance. Takei, sure that the right will continue to oppose Pride events no matter what, simply sees no reason for LGBTQ parade participants to censor themselves by wearing clothes in front of children.

As stunning as that admission may seem, the reaction of progressive journalist Brian Krassenstein provided an even bigger mask-off moment. Like Filipkowski, Krassenstein took to Twitter to express his outrage, not at the adults who had exposed themselves to children, but at the conservative media outlets that shared the video taken at these events. Krassentein was wise enough to initially frame his protest as concern for children who might see the footage on Twitter, chastising conservative outlets for complaining about child exposure in one instance but facilitating it on another platform. It was obvious that his real intent was to shame conservative outlets for revealing what happened at the event, but at least he was clever about the way he went about it.

That changed once another account challenged Krassenstein, asserting that he was more angry with alternative media sources that had revealed the truth than he was with adults who flashed children in the streets. The journalist quickly replied, “Seeing a man naked on a bike isn't going to have much of an impact on any kid. They have likely see their father or bother [sic] naked before.” Krassenstein would later attempt to backtrack, stating that he opposed the men exposing themselves to children, but it was too late. The initial reaction painting the incident as insignificant had already revealed his true position.

Chants of “We’re coming for your children” were heard repeatedly at this year’s New York City Drag March. The phrase become infamous after a video of the San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus singing a song with those lyrics went viral in 2021. As you might imagine, the normalization of this phrase among LGBTQ activists had many parents understandably concerned. NBC news decided to smooth over public relations by running a piece explaining that “We’re coming for your children” is a phrase that gay rights activists have been chanting for years and that there was nothing new about its usage at Pride events. Again, this article was meant to inform parent that their concerns were unfounded because Pride attendees had been chanting “We’re coming for your children” for a very long time.

The cycle of normalization has repeated so often that by now every conservative should be able to identify the phases on sight.

Step one: Claim nothing is happening and paint those who notice as conspiracy theorists. Step two: Acknowledge that some isolated incidents may be happening, but assert that those who notice are motivated by bigotry. Step three: Admit that yes it might be happening, but claim that most people do not really oppose it and that focusing on it is the real problem. Step four: Openly force celebration of the fact that it was always happening by threatening the livelihood of anyone who opposes you. We are firmly in the “Okay maybe gay men are regularly exposing themselves to children in public, but it’s fine actually” phase of the normalization discourse, and things will only accelerate from here.

Honestly, it is somewhat tiring to continually hear those who ask how we could have gotten this far. We know exactly how we got this far. America was warned repeatedly by the religious right what this path would look like, what would happen when the critical foundations of morality and tradition were demolished. But the prophecies came from those who had been coded as old, low-class, and desperately uncool, so they were discarded and mocked.

These predictions were characterized as ridiculous hyperbolic fantasies, illogical slippery-slope arguments made by ignorant and backward people. The slippery slope has remained undefeated, however, as prediction after prediction has come to pass. It should surprise absolutely no one that removing every traditional barrier around sexuality would eventually lead to a culture in which adults expose themselves to children with reckless abandon.

In 2021 the Washington Post ran an article by Lauren Rowello titled, “Yes, kink belongs at Pride. And I want my kids to see it.” The article was met with outrage, but two years later the position has become thoroughly mainstreamed. LGTBQ identities are sexual by their very nature. When those like Takei or Rowello characterize obscene public sexual displays as self-expression integral to those identities, perhaps it is time for conservatives to stop arguing with the activists and listen to what is being said. The truth might be uncomfortable, but if progressives are willing to loudly declare it and conservatives refuse to face it, then who is at fault? Fox News might be selling "Caitlyn Jenner conservatism," but this strategy is just as doomed to fail as the weak and cowardly half-measures that came before.

So I come to you with what has, in the year of our Lord 2023, become a radical proposal: Adults exposing themselves to children in public should be a serious crime, one that lands them in jail and makes them unable to interact with children for the rest of their lives. This should be the case even if it happens during the state-sanctioned holy month of Pride. Sheriffs or police chiefs who do not stop this behavior should be removed and prosecuted for child endangerment. People should fear the legal and social consequences of exposing themselves to kids. There should be no discourse around the issue. Progressives will probably declare this position bigoted and intolerant, but I really could not care less. If those who oppose wokeness think things are bad now, they have no idea what is coming. As shocking as it may seem that parents are celebrating as grown men publicly expose themselves to their children, it is important to understand that we are nowhere near the bottom of the slippery slope. But on our current trajectory, we will inevitably arrive at that incredibly dark and dangerous destination.
