the state of øbama: not good

friday, march 21st, 2014

president Barack ∅bama spoke for 65 minutes Tuesday (Jan 28th) night, but didn't say much.

State of the Union addresses typically are laundry lists of a presidents alleged accomplishments and of his legislative goals for the coming year.

It's difficult for even the most gifted speech writers to turn laundry lists into spellbinding oratory. But this was “the most plodding, enervated and pointless national address of his presidency,” wrote John Podhoretz in the "New York Post". Maybe presidents should stop delivering the SOTU in person, mused Todd Purdum in the liberal webzine "Politico".

Mr. ∅bama’s laundry lists Tuesday had a familiar ring. All his proposals were cribbed from the 2013 State of the Union, noted Jonathan Tobin of "Commentary" magazine.

They were “picayune” — “high-tech hubs, broadband access for kids, the minimum wage,” said Rich Lowry of "National Review".

“Is that all there is?” asked Ron Fournier of the "National Journal".

“Gone is the lyricism for which liberals swooned in 2008 and to a lesser extent in 2012,” said "Washington Post" Right Turn blogger Jennifer Rubin. “In its place are a list of half-measures and forced anecdotes about Obamacare.”

The president touched on liberal hot buttons such as gun control and income inequality, but his touch was perfunctory. This was the most startling passage in the SOTU:

“Inequality has deepened. Upward mobility has stalled. The cold, hard fact is that even in the midst of recovery, too many Americans are working more than ever just to get by, let alone to get ahead. And too many still aren't working at all.”

The president spoke no truer words all night. The percentage of Americans living in poverty is higher than it was in 1966, the year after the war on poverty began, and 6.6 percent of Americans earn incomes of half the poverty level or less, compared to 3.7 percent when the Census Bureau began keeping this statistic in 1975.

Median household income, adjusted for inflation, fell 4.3 percent between 2009 and 2012.

The unemployment rate has been higher during this presidency than in any other since the Great Depression. If the labor force participation rate were the same now as it was in January 2009, the unemployment rate would be nearly 11 percent.

Acknowledging this amounts to “self incrimination,” said former George W. Bush aide Peter Wehner. Andrew Malcolm of "Investors Business Daily" called it, “a stunning and inexplicably stupid admission of his own failure.”

Mr. ∅bama slathered lipstick on the pig, acting as if someone else has been president for the last five years, making enough spurious claims about “recovery” and ∅bamacare to keep fact checkers working overtime.

Mr. ∅bama went “small ball” and softened his rhetoric because he recognizes the grandiose initiatives that warm the hearts of liberals are unpopular, said Noah Rothman of "Mediaite".

If that's so, the light dawned in the White House very recently.

“The entire speech seemed like a cut and paste of old State of the Union speeches with a late rewrite, as if the White House figured out that ‘opportunity’; (the GOP term) polls better than ‘inequality’ (the base's favorite),” Ms. Rubin said.

After shrinking during the presidency of George W. Bush, income inequality has increased on Mr. ∅bama’s watch. Only 4 percent of respondents in a Gallup poll this month think it's the most important problem; only 13 percent in a Fox News poll think the government should do something about it. So soft pedaling the “income inequality shtick” was prudent.

But his small ball, recycled initiatives – he even plagiarized lines from Mr. Bush's 2007 SOTU, according to former Bush speechwriter Mark Thiessen – are an implicit admission of failure. They'll do next to nothing to alleviate the hardship that's been caused, in large part, by his policies. They may make things worse.

Americans understand this. “Do you approve of the policies President ∅bama presented in his State of the Union speech?” asked the "San Diego Union Tribune" in an online poll to which anyone could respond. Seventy five percent of those who did said no.

This SOTU drew the smallest audience in decades. The reaction to it of an unaffiliated voter in Colorado illustrates why gimmicks and a change in rhetoric won't stop the president's slide into political irrelevance.

“He was talking about me, but has no ability to help me,” Scott Valenti told the Associated Press. “I need a job now.”

A Day In The Life

After a good night's sleep, I got up at 7:45am, no night sweats and no flu, grabbed my Turkish Bathrobe, cranked-up the Condo's heat to 76°F, made some Fresh-Squeezed OJ w/ lots of pulp, and several mugs of steaming hot, French-Roast, Turkish-Grind Coffee, and fired-up the computer to check the weather and news. I had a boatload of email to wade thru, and decided to make "Stuffed Hash Browns" and an English Muffin w/ Mimosa Marmalade. Looks like more Winter's on the way for early next week, but that's just par for the course for March. 31°F outside. It's getting light now at 7:25am, so going off DST wasn't any big deal. I called Dad to see if there was anything he needed, and the painters were there and would be for all next week, at least. The local Rite Aid Pharmacy in East York called, and had a late BP Rx ready for me, so I went to get it when they opened at 9am. I stopped by the DIY carwash and cleaned-off the Jeep's undercarriage's road salt and the rest of the

dirt, made several other stops and took a drive down past Lakes Redman and Williams, the area's main reservoirs: both were frozen-over. I haven't seen that since 1996. I got home just after 1pm, had a couple Crunchy Tacos w/Guacamole & Salsa, and went out for a walk, and met-up with a neighbor who was walking by with her two labs; I took one and she had the other. After 1½-hrs, the dogs had enough and were leading us back to the Condo Complex, so I turned over leash control to my neighbor and went in to get warmed-up and do some paperwork.

High for the day was 52°F; not exactly balmy spring weather, and even with the biting north wind, wasn't an unpleasant day with the warm sunshine. I listened to some of the morning's missed Chris Plante Show Podcast, until 6pm, had a pint of Pistachio Gelato, and caught the Mark Levin Show streaming on-air, from 6-9pm. I finally got around to going thru my days' email and answering as many of them as I could, until I started nodding-off around 10:30pm. The rest can wait until morning; time for sleep.

Awake and up at 6:30am on Saturday, the Condo wasn't a bit cold, despite the temp set back to 67°F;, but I turned it up to 76°F; anyway, made coffee and OJ, had a couple of English Muffins w/ Peach Amaretto Jam, and checked the usual 7 weather and 6 new sites. I scanned the new email, and got back to

answering last night's load, before leaving for Becky's and Dad's, to help them with some small projects. Those done, I was back home by 12:30pm, made Creamed Chipped Beef & Gravy Over Toast, w/ Peas for lunch, and went out for a 2hr walk over to the York Galleria. Back by 4pm, I checked the latest forecast for Sunday night into Monday morning, and it was only 1-2" of snow; no biggie. I started watching some "Prepper" Shows on YT: the MainePrepper Series, the History Channel "Doomsday Preppers" Series, the Sigma 3 Survival School, the GQ Prepper and a couple of others, until 12 midnight. I lost track of time; heh. I even forgot my food shopping list for tomorrow morning. I shut down, armed the Condo, and went up to bed.

Another great night's sleep, until 8am, and I was up trying to remember the last dream about a "monster pick-up truck I was driving"; darn, it went away. Anywho, I warmed-up the Condo, made OJ and coffee, has a couple of English Muffins w/ Butter, revised my food shopping list, checked the weather and new sites. 32°F; and

sunny, with a forecast high of only 37°F;, and a massive storm was forming in the Southeast, of which we'd only get 1-2". Areas south and southwest of us would get hammered; heh. I got ready, set-off the Back-Up/Restore Schedule and left at 9:30am for Weis Market, in East York. Shopping done, I stopped-by Dad's, pruned some 2-3" broken Dogwood tree branches, and he was just leaving for Church in Emigsville, so I left after cleaning-up the branches, came home around 11:30am, and unloaded groceries from the Jeep. My next door neighbor was packing-up, and told me that he's moving his family back down to central Florida to get away from the cold and snow – can't blame him on that one! – so the unit will be empty again. Of the 36 Condo units here, probably 15 or more are "snowbirds" who leave for Florida every October and come back in May. By 11am, temps had hit only 36°F;, and with the coming snowstorm and arctic air behind it, probably wouldn't get much warmer today. After the Back-Up/Restore Schedule had finished, I disconnected the 2nd external drive, restarted and checked the latest weather maps. The storm was massive and beginning to move north, up the East Coast. How that's not going to affect us is a mystery to me, but the forecast us is still for a paltry 1-2" tonite. Meh. I made a Olive Loaf Sandwich and chips, for lunch, and started to watch more YT videos from "Gun Talk" Media, when Dad called and asked me to go along to pick-up some new shelves he'd bought for his upstairs

office. I closed-down the computer, unloaded the Jeep's cargo bay, folded down the rear seats, and left for his house at 1pm. The shelves fit fine in the Jeep, I carried both of them upstairs to his office, and suggested that his house painters stain/paint them, since the two shelves were unfinished #1 white pine. I left and got back home, reloaded the Jeep, and pulled it into the garage in anticipation of the coming snowstorm, which by 3pm, was already entering Southern York County. I had a couple loads of laundry to get done, bathrooms to clean and got those chores underway. That stuff washed, dried, folded and put away, I settled into listening to the streaming "Gun Talk Radio" from 8-11pm, wet-mopped the kitchen and 2 bathrooms' floors, while following the lively forum thread on this site, until 11pm, and called it a day. No snow yet. Lots to do tomorrow.

I was up at 6:30am on Monday, to a very cold Condo, grabbed the bathrobe, cranked-up the heat, and made coffee and OJ. Looks like about 1" of snow overnight, and continuing flurries. 21°F; outside. DC got 7-10". My computer was acting "hinky" – not getting any of my usual radio streaming stations except the Harrisburg WHP 580am – so I restarted several times, but no luck. Cumulus Media and Clear Channel networks stopped working for all channels; iHeart Network was working, so I went with what I could get. After a shower, I spent the morning scanning the computer's registry (brain) and hard drives (guts) and didn't find anything untoward. At 9:30, I drove to S&D Automotive to help Stacey with a computer problem. Back by 11am, I was hungry, and made a Turkey Club w/ Fries, and kept at troubleshooting the computer, and finally found the glitch in Windows

Media Player, and fixed it. With the snow mostly melted, and a high of only 32°F;, I went out for a short walk at 3. Which turned into a longer walk of 2+ hours. Finally home by 5:30pm, I checked email, and kept reading thru the health care plans from Highmark BlueShield vs Geisinger, and thru the 152pg Medicare document in *.PDF format, while listening to the Mark Levin Show until 9pm; then switched over to the John Batchelor Show, from 9pm-11pm. The cleaning ladies would be here at 8:30am, and I needed to get some sleep; my eyes, especially the right one with the damned floaters, was getting tired. I packed it in around 11:15, armed the place and went up to bed.

Damn, I overslept until 7:15am on Tuesday, and had to hurry, as the cleaning ladies were coming at around 8:30 or so. Condo heat cranked-up, I made coffee, had some Del Monte® Mango/Passionfruit Chunks, and an English Muffin w/ Marmalade, scanned the news and weather sites, checked the email load and skipped the morning's usual shower, and got ready for their arrival and my trip down to Red Lion, in Southern York County. They arrived at 8:45, and I left to drive to Walt's Barbershop for a haircut and make a few unplanned stops. That done, I stopped-by the firehall on North

Sherman St, and voted for write-in candidate Scott Wagner, and was back home by 11:30am, called Dad to see how he was doing, and let him know I'd be over tomorrow to pick-up a chair for repairs. My computer's radio-audio streaming problem persisted, and I tried some more "work-arounds" to get it playing in Firefox, and use Opera as my main browser. (((sigh))) I'm still stumped as to how this crap happened between Sunday evening's "Gun Talk" Radio program, and Monday morning's usual WMAL/WSBA morning news and shows. Eventually, I'll figure it out. Maybe.

On today's morning round-trip, I saw that gas/diesel prices at the pump, had risen another 2¢/gal, since just last Monday, March 10th: Unleaded Regular (87 oct) is now at $3.55/gal, Unleaded Premium (89oct) is at $3.65/gal, Premium (93 oct) is at $3.85/gal, with Diesel Fuel/Kerosene K-2 also sneaking-up to $4.25/gal, at most stations in the York (PA) area.

My opinion of what happened to that Malaysian Flight MH-370, which "disappeared" almost 2 weeks ago (Saturday, March 8th)? My initial reaction is Occam's Razor: the simplest theory is always best, and usually the most accurate. But, here's another, really intriguing theory: it was hijacked, the passengers gassed and killed right after take-off, flown to a subhuman, murderous islamist-friendly airstrip in Pakistan, bodies removed and disposed of, and the plane is being repainted and refitted for delivering an Iranian nuke (possible EMP) to a Western city, very probably Israel or Europe, and possibly to an Americas city. After the muzzie pilots turned-off the transponder, the plane "hitched a ride" behind another Boeing 777 as cover/shadow, appearing as one radar blip, and flew to its pre-arranged

destination. Crazy theory? Count on it, if the facts are ever uncovered. Don't doubt me on Occam's Razor, despite the 5 current theories circulating around the media. And then, we may never find out. It might become "Amelia Earhart, Part Deux".

I made some Crunchy Tacos w/Guacamole & Salsa, and Chips & Guacamole for lunch; lots of "FIRE" sauce and salsa. After checking the weather maps, it looked like we'd get some ice overnight and in the morning. My trip to Dad's and Becky's would have to wait until temps warmed-up a bit and roads weren't treacherous. I put the Jeep in the garage for the night, and went out for a 2hr walk down to Springettsbury Twp Park. By 4:45, I was back, reorganized the garage's Frigidaire® 14.8 cu. ft. Chest Freezer, and listened to the Mark Levin Show until 9pm; then switched over to the John Batchelor Show, from 9-11pm. I did finally get my computer fixed; I found a Pure Leads Virus on it, removed it from the Win-7 Pro Control Panel "Programs and Features" panel, and now live streaming is working just fine. No

idea how it got in there. At 11:15pm, I set-up for tomorrow's breakfast, closed down the electronics, armed the Condo and went up to sleep. I could sleep-in if I feel like it; nothing early was planned.

The weird dreams woke me at 4am on Wednesday, and I couldn't get back to sleep. So much for sleeping-in. While making coffee and OJ, I checked the usual weather and news sites, scanned some email, and had Biscuits, Sausage Gravy & Scrambled Eggs, for breakfast. For a couple hours, I listened to the WSBA Morning Show news & weather. 31°F; outside, and the forecast rain/ice is way off to the west, somewhere in Indiana. BFD. I had a list of things to get done, so I emptied-out the Jeep's back cargo bay, warmed it up and left at 9:30am. My coat wasn't ready at the cleaners, so I went to Dad's, helped wrap the antique Ethan Allen Windsor Chair, and take it to Becky's for later pick-up by one of her subcontractors, for repair. I made 2 other stops on the way home, and by 12:30pm, the rain arrived; mercifully no sleet or ice at 41°F;, so I reloaded the Jeep's back cargo bay, and parked it outside for the night. With a delicious Roast Beef Sandwich & Fries Smothered in Gravy, I spent the afternoon doing a little paperwork, catching 40 winks on the LR Couch while listening to Rush, until 3pm. I was zombie dead tired from getting-up at 4am; the nap helped a little. My next door neighbor

is moving his family down to Florida, so it was noisy with all the packing and loading activity, so I listened to the morning's missed Chris Plante Show Podcast, until 6pm; and then the Mark Levin Show until 9pm; and finally, only a little of the John Batchelor Show, starting at 9pm. The rain finally stopped around 9:30pm, as the storm moved north into New England with snow and ice. I managed to stay awake until 9:45pm, but was fading fast, and decided to call it quits. I closed down, armed the Condo, and went up to bed.

Amazing how 9 hours of sleep can rejuvenate one's mind and body; I felt great getting-up at 7am on Thursday. A balmy 40°F; outside, I turned-up the heat, made coffee and OJ, had a couple of English Muffins w/ Mimosa Jam, and checked the usual weather and news sites. Is it 14 or 15 days now, for the missing plane? Meh. I needed to get to the cleaners, drop some things off and pick-up my Marlboro Barn Coat, which wasn't ready yesterday, and then drive to Sherry's, so we could drive to Boiling Springs (PA) for a day trip. Sunny, clear, a bit nippy at 44°F; with the wind, and no inclement weather in sight. I left at 9am to get 2 stops done, and picked her up at 10. The ride to Boiling Springs was a wonderful country drive thru several small Pennsylvania towns, the Village Artisans Gallery store was amazing and we had a very nice lunch at the historic Boiling Springs Tavern. Sherry also gave me an amazing gift: a beautiful crocheted afghan she'd made over the Winter months, which I'll treasure forever.

A very good friend, great company, and a wonderful day away from the York area. Back home by 3:30pm, I opened-up the Condo's windows to let the 54°F; breeze thru and enjoy The First Day of Spring! It was snowing just 100 miles north of us. After taking-out the garbage to the curb, I listened to the morning's missed Chris Plante Show Podcast, until 6pm, and then the Mark Levin Show until 9pm. After listening to a couple hours of the John Batchelor Show, starting at 9pm, I found this new series, "Crisis", and watched the Episode 1 Replay. Not bad for an NBC product. By 11:30, I'd had a dayfull, and closed down for the night.

Tomorrow starts a new week here in the "Journal", and except for a few projects for Dad and possibly Becky, I have an open week to get some projects done around my place, and maybe go to Freedom Armory and continue breaking-in one of my Kimbers. Spring is here, and everywhere I can see tree and shrub buds swelling, and branch tips turning a slight reddish hue, indicating that sap is rising-up from the once-dormant rootball, ready to push-out blooms and leaves. I'm ready to get this Winter behind us, for good.

You Own It, demokkkRATs!

Congratulations to the asswipe demokkkRATs, irrelevant "Free Shit!" minorities and stupid young people on the Truly-Shitty Economy you've created and inherited. You now own it 100%, and you can't blame Bush, anymore. Bathhouse Barry ∅bummer did it all by himself. You voted for it, dumbassed idiots. Your TSHTF Survival

Are you truly ready for when, not if, TSHTF (The Shit Hits The Fan). And a lot of my "Journal" Readers have emailed and called me to discuss what preparations they should take for that "coming awful event". Believe me, "it" IS coming. Based upon what's happening around the world and here in the US, I have a terrible, terrible *gut feeling* that TSWHTF (The Shit Will Hit The Fan), sometime in 2014. Don't ask why; I just do.

First, Israel is preparing for war, after being attacked for years on many fronts, and not fighting back as she should have. This war will truly have "Biblical implications" around the world. The Middle East is rapidly-collapsing under the subhuman, murderous muslim/islamic riots (muslim Brotherhood) and rule ("arab Spring"), with world crude oil prices projected to hit $200+/bbl, or even higher into the $300-$400 range,

Europe is on the verge of insolvency and collapse, no thanks in great part to Germany, teetering-and-tottering Asia and South America will quickly-follow, then comes the downfall of Canada, and The USA won't be far behind, in late 2012 and into 2013. Watch this video; be sure you're sitting-down, and don't have any food or liquid in your mouth upon which to choke.

Just Google "survival" and see what comes-up. Damned-near everything you ever wanted to know how to prepare for this for-sure-coming "hellish holocaust", some of it in easy-to-download *.PDF format. Tens-of-thousands of websites are devoted to the topic of "survival". Do the same with "You Tube", and watch the thousands of videos. This is *NOT The Phony Y2K Crappola*; this is for real. I said numerous times that Y2K was a waste of time and money to prepare for, and that came true. I'm reading that "survival stores" are reporting a huge upswing in sales and preparations, and for good reason.

I'm also one of the very, very few who "predicted a 9-11 type event", 2 years and 8 months before it happened. Read down that "Journal" entry to the "Scary Stuff" section, and it was done by the subhuman, murderous muslim/islamic shit/filth/trash, NOT the US Gov't as some morons and idiots (Alex Jones & Co), have and still It's interesting you mention when an old paradigm dies and a new one takes its place. There are people who are still connected to the old one and can't conceive of life without that old paradigm. I think you saw that in the Great Depression. A lot of people never recovered from it because once that hit it was the end of their lives. claim. Need I say more about those certifiable and murderous, subhuman muslim/islamist wackos who are determined to kill all of us Proud Infidels?

Am I an "conspiracy alarmist" or one of those "crazed survivalists", sequestered in a Montana, Idaho, Utah or Wyoming compound or bunker? Not hardly; I'm simply in mid-State Pennsylvania, an Eagle Scout, Class of 1963, Order Of The Arrow/ Vigil Honor, and our BSA Motto was then, and still is now, "Be Prepared". Need I say any more?

Forget all of the "buy gold and silver" bullshit commercials; buy "brass and lead" for your guns. They're a far, far superior investment, IMO. Ammo is truly a "fungible" item; gold & silver aren't at all. They may be "intrinsic", but they're utterly-useless in a collapsing/collapsed society or world. Do the requisite research, as I've done. 'Nuff said on that subject.

BTW, how are you stocked-up for incandescent light bulbs? Within 4 weeks, manufacturing and using 100w incandescent will become "a crime", thanks to stupid-assed, liberal moron chimp, shit-for-brains, George W Bush & Co, in 2007. You'll be forced, under penalty-of-law, to use the very expensive,

dangerous and short-lived CFLs (Compact Fluorescent Light bulbs). Better stock-up NOW on 60w, 75w and 100w incandescents, where and when you can find them, before they become unavailable and illegal!

This government's ***CRIMINALLY NUTS***, in trying to regulate our use of anything and everything! It's fascism, socialism, Leninism and communism, dammit, and it won't stand! Where is that in The US Constitution? The US Government isn't empowered to force us to do or buy anything, and has overstepped its legal authority in The ENUMERATED Commerce Clause. The Commerce Clause is quite specifically an enumerated power listed in the United States Constitution (Article I, Section 8, Clause 3). The Contemporary Commerce Clause debate, When "decided by the SCOTUS in the Summer of 2012", will cause CWIII, if upheld. Stockpile NOW, because TSHTF before/during/after the November General Election!

Gold is NOT the way to go; lead and brass (aka ammo) ARE. Mark my words!

TSHTF this or next year, and members of the corrupt, criminal US Congress are helping racist, commie, lowlife scumbag Barry "Fuck America!" Obama (SAMBO-IL), by either collaborating with him or cowering before him, on his You are going to see, in metro areas, the absolute worst in humanity, as the people that are most dependent upon a collectivist system, whether they're these Occupy Well Street people, or people who are loaded up with debt, they are totally unprepared for an economic reality where their paradigm does not function. As a result they're going to go through the absolute most disgusting inhumanity that I think any American has ever seen as they go through this anger phase – and it's going to result in riots, and starvation and bloodshed. It has to happen. You don't have people's life savings disappear and people become desperate, and not have that happen. coming "Race War" plan.

We are *at war with Iran*; no doubt about it. Get used to it. And shit-for-brains, racist, commie, lowlife scumbag Barry "F•ck America!" Obama (TRAITOR-IL) has politely "asked" for our formerly Top Secret RQ-170 Sentinel Drone "to be returned". What a dumbf•ck Obama is! He should be charged, tried and imprisoned for *treason*, IMO.

I've been saying, for the past 2-3 years, that no one should buy any gold or silver; it's worthless crap if TSHTF (The Shit Hits The Fan). Instead, buy guns and ammo; they're a far, far better investment, IMO. Any questions?

Uh-oh, it's beginning to happen in Europe. Better get ready for it to come over here, soon, as The Fed f•cks America, once again. Time to abolish The Fed and its corrupt, criminal influence on America's economy!

Here's a very useful List of Barter Items, for when TSHTF. Get and stockpile those and more, if you know what's good for you and your family! Think I'm kidding? Better read this and think VERY carefully about it.

With the FBI already considering many US Citizens as "sovereign citizen extremists", are you ready for "Rex 84" & The FEMA Camps? A new bill has been introduced in the US House of Representatives called the National Emergency Centers Act or HR 645. This bill if passed into law will direct the Secretary of Homeland Security to establish

national emergency centers otherwise known as FEMA Camp Facilities on military installations. Some more detail on "Rex 84", right here, written by, very disappointingly, USMC Lt Col Oliver North.

"Economic chaos" ahead? You betcha. Are you and your family ready for it? It IS coming, at out current rate of out-of-control government spending.

Before TSHTF, here are 20 Lessons From The Streets of Cairo. Worth reading, if you plan to survive.

And before TSHTF, here are Innumerable Lessons From The Collapse of Bosnia, in 1992. Also worth reading, if you plan to survive.

Do you live near a "terrorism hot-spot"? Check the map. Here's DHS' recently-issued "White Paper (*.PDF)" on it, from 1970-2008, published by the University of Maryland.

Do you know what an "EMP Attack" is? Now you do. *When* it happens, not *if*, we're all f•cked, unless we're prepared to live in the early-1800s. That's why I write this stuff.

Are you ready for Obama's (TRAITOR-IL) "October Surprise"?

What about access to land and fresh water? Right here's an article to address those concerns.

Are you worried and prepared for the coming paradigm shift? How's your preparation work coming along?

The end of the dollar is coming; are you prepared for it? Here's a guide to a few canned foods.

Looks like a "race war" is coming, thanks to the hate-filled nigga race-pimps Jackson, Sharpton, Farrakan and New Black Pampers®, and time is growing shorter and shorter before TSHTF.

Don't let the possibility of DHS watching your every move deter you in preparing for TSHTF; do it regardless. Your and your Family's safety & survival always comes first. Beware of what your neighbors will do if you're prepared and they're not.

State and local resistance to the detention provisions contained in the 2012 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) continues to grow, rapidly-emerging as a nationwide movement against the illegal and unconstitutional Federal Jack-Booted-Thugs' powers.

America is already being turned into a giant prison camp, and 90% of Americans either go along with it or don't see it happening. I do.

When prepping, always plan your survival purchases first on paper; buy them afterward.

Obama: "Entrepreneurs Don't Build Businesses"

"Last week, President Barack Obama delivered some telling remarks to a fire station full of people in Roanoke, Virginia. I'll save you the trouble of reading the (long and uninspired) speech and provide you with the most interesting part:

"If you've got a business – you didn't build that. Somebody else made that happen." – President Barack Obama, July 13th, 2012.

It would be easy to respond with something along the lines of, "Somebody else made that happen? Who? Who magically imagined the product or service, started the business, built it up, and created the jobs? Who was it? The tooth fairy?" And to some extent, President Obama's statement is so ridiculous as to merit that sort of quick, flippant response.

(Here's the video of that loony remark.)

However, he's not entirely wrong. This reminds me of an argument that Massachusetts Senate Democratic candidate Elizabeth Warren would probably make. If he's talking about a mid-sized or large business, where an entrepreneur has hired additional employees, then at that point the business's success isn't purely that of its founder.

Employees add value to a business through work and ideas. That's why you hire employees, after all. Steve Jobs didn't invent every last detail of the phones, computers, and tablets to come out of Apple over the last decade. There were engineers working on those products who developed them. So, employees help entrepreneurs to build their business. "Somebody else" did indeed play a part in making that happen.

But what makes the president's remarks so inane is the totality of what he's saying. He's not saying that entrepreneurs and employees work together to build a business. It's not a collaborative effort. It's all thanks to the employees. Usually, I can understand the way the president's mind works on most issues by examining it through a pragmatic, liberal, or progressive framework. This one baffles me.

As I explained, I can see that he has some of a point, but he's still just obviously wrong on the broader point. Sure, the employees help to build the business, but the business itself wouldn't exist without the entrepreneur. So, to say to entrepreneurs and to business owners, "...you didn't build that. Somebody else made that happen," is just wrong. It's silly. They did build that by setting the foundation for the business.

Entrepreneurs are almost always the hardest workers in their business. They work a simply insane number of hours to get their idea off the ground. If they succeed (and they face a tremendous risk if they don't), then they'll start to grow and to hire employees to help. Honestly, if I were an entrepreneur and I read those remarks by the president, I would be furious. It's a tremendous insult to the true job-creators in America, entrepreneurs.

In the context of a long, somewhat rambling campaign speech that touched on every issue under the sun, it may seem as though I'm over-exaggerating the importance of a minor thing he said. But President Obama isn't a stupid man, or even one who makes off-the-cuff remarks he doesn't really mean. He's a very smart man, and he meant what he said.

When the most important issues for most Americans are economic growth and job creation, I believe it's essential to know exactly where both candidates stand on the importance of entrepreneurs. Yesterday, we learned that President Obama believes that entrepreneurs don't build businesses. Ultimately, they're irrelevant. Take that for what you will." ©Principles and Policy, July 14, 2012

Liberal Media BS

The most insidious power of the corrupt, criminal liberal media, is the power to ignore the truth.

Here, have some fun. Something stinks within America's newsrooms. It's the stench of liberal bias permeating the so-called mainstream media. From lies and deceit to distortions and character assassinations, the liberal media dish out leftist BS to drive their radical agenda.

Chris Plante, host of The Chris Plante Show on WMAL (DC) from 9-12, weekdays, said, "The most insidious power the media has, if the power to ignore." Think about what that really means and you can readily see what an evil force the corrupt, criminal, liberal-demokkkRAT-controlled, butt-kissing, fawning circlefest media assholes, are.

Think you can detect it? Take this test and find out just how much BS the liberal media are dishing out. Wear your hip-waders; the bullshit is deep!

Inside The Army’s Spectacular, Hidden Treasure Room.

Remember that ending scene out of Indiana Jones where the Ark of the Covenant is boxed up and wheeled through an endless government warehouse?

Did you know that that place actually exists?

I was hugely-pleased, a little stunned at the secrecy, but half-expecting a juicy trove of treasures.

It is called the Center of Military History. It is located 30 minutes outside Washington, D.C., at Fort Belvoir in Virginia. The building itself is very nondescript.

But behind a series of highly alarmed doors and long, cement, camera-laden hallways. It is the highly sophisticated, climate-controlled treasure room where the army keeps its most precious artifacts.

The facility was built for $24 million in 2010. The cavernous warehouse is typically shrouded in total darkness. Motion lights illuminate only the areas in which someone is walking.

If I could get tickets, I'd fork over my first-born child. Oh wait; I don't have one. Heh. I'd go there in a heartbeat.
