if the left had their way...

friday, november 2nd, 2018

with all that is going on today in our social and political culture, especially the audacious unmasking of what liberals and the Democrat Party are now demanding, it would not be difficult to imagine an America ruled by the Left, the modern liberal, the modern Democrat Party. I say modern liberal because it is a far cry from the classic liberal of the forgotten past.

The classic liberal would advocate Constitutional Republicanism, a limited government with basic inalienable rights entrusted upon its people, shared equally by all its citizens, of all races, bestowed by God. It was envisioned by our founders that all were created equal in the law and then allowed to be let loose to become all you can be with limited government and few limits. It was what many of us fought to reestablish in the 60s and 70s.

Liberalism and the Democrat Party have morphed. They have contorted into a shape that is no longer recognizable. More likely they were stolen by nefarious groups who waited for their opportunity to affect a docile and pliable generation more concerned with getting high.

Liberals have achieved much power over the decades. They have almost completely taken over the media, the entertainment industry and the education system. The internet has proven difficult for liberals. They fear the totally free exchange of ideas…people thinking for themselves. Facebook, Google and others are trying desperately to control what we all read. Nevertheless, Hillary Clinton’s candidacy represented a culmination of many years of indoctrination, misinformation, and brainwashing. They were close, real close. How else could they have responded to a Trump presidency?

Liberals live in a bizarre world of contradictions, intolerance, violence, and a narrow-minded world of strict conformity. They are intellectually dishonest, without principle, continually in search of the perfect road to utopia where none exists. It is a creed that feeds on emotion, their only approach to debate. They advocate and promote a strong centralization of all political power, massive in size. What is good for New York and Los Angeles is good for Omaha, Nebraska and Cody, Wyoming.

The liberal wants freedom from moral consequence and craves a collectivist, totalitarian state to achieve it. They freely use catchy phrases like “social justice” to dupe the masses into thinking it will be a new and just world. The liberal today clings to Socialist/Marxist principles in spite of decades of failure. It is their religion.

The liberal makes the State their god. They will accept no others. They believe government can solve all problems, and meet all needs, material, social, or spiritual.

They use their god to totally reinvent culture and society and eliminate all moral precepts. This is an essential element to necessitate change…a transformation of American culture. When you eliminate God, you eliminate the proposition that God is above human government, granting rights that government has no power or influence. Just saying Merry Christmas sends many liberals over the top. To destroy a nation, you must first destroy its culture and beliefs.

Judeo-Christianity is a natural antagonist of liberals because it is the perfect balance between the social contract and government. As a result of our Judeo-Christian heritage, we have self-government, not in spite of it. There was no need for an imperious, tyrannical state with a self-governing moral code. Our relationship with God held back any unruly citizenry. John Adams understood this saying, “The Constitution was made only for a religious and moral people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.” No wonder liberals hate it so much.

People wonder why we have mass shootings. It is not because people have changed or because of guns. It’s because liberals have removed all self- restraint. The purpose being to convince the public that we need more laws, more control, and less freedom.

Liberals want our children, as early as possible, to indoctrinate and mold in their image. To the liberal, codes like the Ten Commandments are unacceptable because they presuppose a law greater than government. A Commandment such as “honor thy father and thy mother” reminds government that they are not the head of the household in spite of their attempts to weaken or destroy parental rights. “Thou shalt not steal” presupposes you have private property. How many Ten Commandment plaques have been removed from public sight? Liberals do not believe in moral absolutes.

Liberals want our children, as early as possible, to indoctrinate and mold in their image. They loath innocence, especially of the young, and take it upon themselves to give them their ‘liberal morality’ as early as possible….‘It Takes a Village.’

The 2nd Amendment posses the greatest menace to the liberal/Democratic Socialist agenda. It is a real and symbolic symbol of individual power. They cannot tolerate it. Any true-believer who says they are for ‘responsible gun ownership’, is lying! They will only accept total confiscation. How else could they possibly dictate where you will work, where you will live, what healthcare you will be given?

The essence of modern Liberalism is Communism. Never mind labels like Democratic/Socialism or even Progressivism, it’s all Communism at its fulfillment. It is ideology to achieve power, not the other way around. Their ideology will just keep them in power. The liberal creed is only for the masses, not the elite. The Bolshevik Revolution did nothing for the Russian people. Power merely exchanged hands to a select few.

The end result can only be world communism with no place to hide. The duped mobs with the black masks do not understand that.

The United States will be liberalism’s most prized possession and its people its most formidable enemy. It is the last great holdout of belief in God, individualism and freedom, the nemesis of the Left.

No American should be confused or undecided this November. If America falls, the world will fall with it.

A Day In The Life.

I slept-in Friday until 6a, made coffee, fired-up the laptop and checked the news and weather, and headed out into 39°F cold, and with a wet Nor'Easter coming over the weekend, it'll be a good time to get to work on straightening-out the upstairs of the condo. It's a mess. Electrical problems still plague the 2nd bedroom; the loft and master bedroom and bath need serious cleaning, so I called one of my cleaning ladies to work on Saturday or Sunday; otherwise she and her partner are scheduled for next Wednesday. I'd like to get moved back in, since I go into PSU-Hershey Medical Center for another CT-Scan and ERCP Operation on Thursday morning at 7:30a and 10:15a.

I had the painters finish-up their "to do list", picked-up shirts at the cleaners, stayed and hung a few pictures and left at 6p. Becky was already asleep, so I fired-up the lapper, watched the news and weather forecasts, had a few beers, and crashed around 11p.

Heaven has a wall and strict immigration policies. Hell has open borders.

The pounding horizontal rain on the bedroom windows woke me at 5a, on Saturday. After coffee, I drove to my almost-finished condo to get some paperwork done. Becky and Karen were also coming at 9a to do some cleaning upstairs, in the bathroom and master bedroom, do laundry and get the 2nd bedroom ready for it's new mattress on Monday. I'd loaded-up the Jeep with 85% of my stuff, living at Dad's former condo, since September 6th, when work started on mine. Becky, Karen and I had lunch, and I stayed until 6:30p. A cold 44°F and rainy day, the Nor'Easter moved-up the East Coast, without any ice or snow for us. I stopped to get a 6-pak of Yuengling Beer, after I left at 6:30p, went back to my last night at Dad's old condo, and began packing-=up stuff, to move in the morning, back to my place. By 10p, I was tired, after 3 beers and my Rx pills, and went to sleep.

Up at 6a on Sunday, I made coffee, grabbed my usual morning shower, and began loading the Jeep with my stuff. Amazing how much "stuff" temporarily accumulates in just 6-7 weeks. I had to make 2 trips to get it all home. By 11a, I was already tired from lugging all that stuff around, and took a break. The F-1 Mexican Grand Prix was on from 2:30-4p, on ABC, so I watched it on my Loft's 40" Samsung TV. The 82" Samsung will be installed November 19th, and I can't wait for that day. There are so many details to be done here in the condo yet, that it's overwhelming. Dozens of pictures and paintings to decide whether or not to hang, books, bric-a-brac... a lot will stay boxed-up and stacked in the basement, or get taken to Goodwill. I got the week's mail and paid the bills online, watched "American Pickers" episodes I'd not seen before, drove over to The Paddock Restaurant & Bar to get a couple of Tanquerays & Tonic w/ Lime, and a six-pack of Yuengling Beer to go. It was damned nice to be home. I crashed around 11:45p, after hanging 6-7 pictures, and placing others where they need to be hung.

I slept-in until 7:30a on Monday, made coffee, checked the weather and news, and began emailing some carpenters I know to get and cut some 1" x 6" x 54" boards for the 2nd BR's new Serta mattress arriving between 4-6p. I called Alan, my former LSCP Foreman at the Ol' Garden Center & Nursery, and he said that both Home Depot and Lowe's will custom cut-wood-to-specs. So off I went at 8:30a, to Home Depot and they cut the boards for me. That done, I had eggs-up, hash browns and toast for breakfast. I drove over to Essis & Sons Flooring, paid the remainder of my condo's flooring/carpeting bill, and brought my former living room 8' x 10' oriental rug home, and put it upstairs in my bedroom, for some color. (The cleaning ladies are going to have to deal with it.)

The 2nd Bedroom's Serta Perfect Sleeper Cache Hotel Pillowtop Full Mattress was delivered at 3p, before the 4-6p delivery window, I tipped the 2 guys $20 each (same ones who'd delivered my Master BR's Serta Perfect Sleeper Cache Hotel Pillowtop Queen Mattress) and drove over to nearby Bed, Bath & Beyond to get a mattress cover and topper. I ordered 2 sheet sets online, but will go back to BB&B on Tuesday, to see what they have for the 2nd BR's sheet set choices. I won't be able to make the bed, since I'll be having a CT-Scan and surgery in the morning on Thursday, and the cleaning ladies will be here Wednesday, so they can make that BR's bed with the new mattress topper and sheets. I cut back my Yellow Peony ("Bartzella") for the coming Winter, as it was wilted and browned-off, at the back door irregular flagstone patio. After listening to Savage and Mark Levin, until 9p, I took my Rx pills, had a few beers, watched a couple of episodes of "Iron Resurrection 2018" on Velocity TV, and went upstairs to bed around 11p. Did I mention that It was damned nice to be home?

I slept-in until 8a on Tuesday, made coffee, and had scrambled eggs, hash browns and toast for breakfast. I began taking quarters ($464.25), dimes ($127.50), and pennies (91.15) over to Weis Market, to get rid of them from the "bottle banks" they've been stored-in for the past 5-6yrs. Tim Alleman, Master Carpenter & Refinisher came by at 10a, to start work on my downstairs butcherblock workbench desk, and kitchen and bathroom cabinets. Lee Friedman, Professional Photographer and old friend and employee, called to have lunch, and we went to Victor's for drinks and lunch. Afterward, I stopped at Bed, Bath & Beyond to get a complete Full Sheet set for the 2nd BR's brass bed, so that my cleaning ladies could put-on the new mattress cover and new sheets, on the new Serta Mattress. New, new, new.

PSU-Hershey Medical Center/Hospital called and said I had a co-pay of $275 for the upcoming CT-Scan on Thursday, so My Geisinger Gold Plan/Medicare Advantage has changed. I've had 13-14 of them and never paid a dime, even as an outpatient. Time to shop around for a new Part C Plan, I guess, with a different company. I listened to Savage until 6p, went to The Paddock Restaurant for a Tangueray & Tonic w/ Lime, and a 6-pack of Yuengling Golden Beer, and was back home by 7:30p. After taking my Rx pills, I crashed around 11p.

Between the Alabama McDonald's shooting and the slaughter in the Pittsburgh synagogue, the Kroger grocery store shooting in Louisville, and a spate of road rage shootings, I've re-started carrying my Kimber 1911 .45cal ACP, plus 2 extra mags. Not taking any chances I'll get caught in something where I can't defend myself and others.

Awake and up at 4:30a on Wednesday, I had a busy day ahead, but 4:30a is ridiculous. I had OJ, coffee, and several Ensure® Protein Shakes, played the Chris Plante Show podcast from yesterday's live 9a-12p show, which I'd missed. I just remembered it was Halloween today, and coincidentally, I was wearing an orange/coral "Faded Glory®" work shirt and black Pendleton® wool over shirt jac. I went out at 6a, to the local DIY carwash, to wash the birdshit off my Jeep, from parking on my street, under my front yard's Pin Oak Tree.

Is America having a nervous breakdown, or is this just the "new normal"? I hope not, in both cases.

The cleaning ladies arrived at 10a, the master carpenter & wood refinisher arrived at 10:30a, the carpet cleaners at 2p, and the electrician at 4p. Busy day. I needed to get up at 4a, to be on-the-road by 4:45a, for a 7a C T-Scan, and my 10a ERCP Operation. I had a couple beers, took my Rx pills, and watched some "Iron Resurrection" for a couple hours, and went to bed at 9:30p. I needed the sleep.

Up at 4:00a, Becky and I drove to PSU-Hershey Hospital's Radiation Dept Bldg, to get a CT-Scan for me, by 7:15a. Needle and contrast dye in my left arm, and I was finished in 30mins. Then over to the Physician's Bldg, to get my ERCP Operation done by Dr Moyer, in the GI Dept. I was in recovery for 30mins, dressed and left at 3p. Home by 4:30, I caught-up on phone calls, did some light condo chores, and went to bed at 9p.

No, I don't have any predictions about next Tuesday's Mid-Terms, like many idiots and morons do.

This Is NOT The America I Know and Love.

To navigate complex challenges, all leaders must take responsibility and have a moral compass grounded in competence, integrity and concern for the greater good.

Tragically, people in positions in power today are not projecting their best.

Many are cowardly, complicit enablers, acting against the interests of the United States, our allies and democracy; encouraging extremists at home and emboldening our adversaries abroad; and threatening the livability of our planet.

Many do not respect the offices they hold; they lack – or disregard – a basic knowledge of history, science and leadership; and they act impulsively, worsening a toxic political environment.

The "current absence of civic virtues" should not be normalized.

We must rededicate ourselves to the ideals, values and norms that unite us and upon which our democracy depends. We must be engaged and informed voters, and we must get our information from credible, reputable sources.

We cannot wait for someone to save us. We must do it ourselves. This Mid-Term Election Day is a crucial opportunity to again demonstrate the best in each of us by doing our duty and voting for leaders who are committed to the values that will unite and protect us.

I'm speaking here, about the treasonous, socialist-commie-Marxist demokkkRATs.
