the jungle devours europe

saturday, november 7st, 2026

The European Union has over four-hundred-fifty million people. The non-E.U. nations of Europe — including the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Norway, Serbia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Moldova, and Albania but excluding Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, and Turkey — have another hundred million people. Combined, Europe has over two hundred million more people than the United States and over four hundred million more people than the Russian Federation. As an “associate member” of the E.U., Canada would give Europe another forty million bodies. Half a billion Europeans should be able to defend themselves.

There is no reason why Europe should struggle to defend itself with this kind of population advantage. In fact, it is downright embarrassing that it depends on Americans from the other side of the ocean to secure its borders when the United States (with its significantly smaller population) has military obligations throughout the world. It has been eighty years since the Second World War, and somehow the European Establishment still hasn’t figured out how to survive without American money and muscle.

Professors and pundits toss out all kinds of reasons why this is the case: The Europeans were saddled with debt and destruction after two continental wars within thirty years and had to rebuild much of their infrastructure and manufacturing capacity. As the Soviet Union and the U.S.-led allies carved up post-war Europe, the Cold War froze the continent in a state of transition for the next half-century. U.S. political leaders embraced America’s transformation into a global empire with global responsibilities. Peace in post-WWII Europe seemed fragile, and parts of Europe appeared broken; two generations had been lost to war and depression, and a sense of nihilism extinguished much of the early-twentieth-century exuberance that pervaded the continent before the First World War.

All of this is true. Still, there is no excuse for the continent to be struggling with the responsibilities of political sovereignty four generations after the defeat of Nazi Germany.

Josep Borrell, the E.U.’s former high representative for foreign affairs and security policy, said in a speech four years ago, “Europe is a garden. We have built a garden.” After a heavy pause, he then observed, “The rest of the world…is not exactly a garden. Most of the rest of the world is a jungle. The jungle could invade the garden. The gardeners should take care of it.”

Political leaders from around the world took umbrage at Borrell’s condescending view of non-European nations and saw in his garden/jungle demarcation the residual bigotry of European colonialism.

Aside from his rather tone-deaf description of Europe, though, Borrell’s view of the continent seems anachronistic. European greatness hasn’t existed for more than a century. Most of the noble houses have fallen, while most of the extant aristocrats live in obscurity.

Europe does not create new things; it steals (and taxes) America’s innovation and ingenuity. Europe does not build things; it depends on China for industrial output and manufacturing. Europe does not produce enough energy; even while declaring Russia its enemy, much of Europe depends upon Russian oil and gas to survive. Europe does not mine anything; it depends upon child slaves in Africa to do its heavy lifting. Europe does not have babies; it depends upon mass immigration for population replacement. Europe does not generate real economic growth; it depends upon central bank magic tricks, investment bank commissions, and government spending to conjure the illusion of a functioning economy. Finally, Europe does not defend itself; it depends upon NATO, which is to say that it depends upon the United States of America to protect its half a billion people from real and imagined enemies.

If Europe is a “garden,” it is because the rest of the planet allows it to exist as one. It would have no vegetation if the “jungle” did not supply it with imports; it would have no “gardeners” if America did not secure Europe’s lands and keep trespassers out.

The United States is the only reason that Europe is not part of the “jungle” today. Americans have subsidized Europe’s economy for eighty years by allowing Europe to enjoy the advantages of one-way tariffs against U.S. manufacturers and the security umbrella of America’s military might. Europe survives because of the kindness of strangers living in towns across America.

This one-sided relationship cannot continue as it has for most of the last century. European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and her Eurocentric friends in Brussels, Berlin, London, and Paris believe that their “garden” should remain the focus of the world. They believe that their “climate change” fanaticism should drive economic regulation around the globe. They believe that their International Criminal Court should be the planet’s chief arbiter of “justice.” They believe that their multicultural, cosmopolitan, Marxist-socialist brand of globalism should become a kind of secular religion for all nations. In essence, Europe wants to force the “jungle” to play by its rules.

But this is not how the “law of the jungle” operates.

The lions, elephants, hippos, and hyenas don’t have any use for Brussels bureaucracy. They see no need to bow down to unelected Queen Ursula or to respect her “European values.” They do not cripple their food supplies out of misplaced devotion to “global warming” gods. They do not outlaw oil and gas exploration, bankrupt refineries, or shutter nuclear power plants while depending upon adversaries and enemies to keep the lights on and the heat flowing. They do not outsource their security to jungle predators with the misguided expectation of not becoming prey.

The jungle doesn’t stop at the garden’s entrance just because the old empires from the last millennium like to pretend that they still matter.

In the capitals of Europe, incompetent gardeners continue to insist that everything will be fine just as soon as they can expel disruptive forces such as Russian Federation President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President Donald Trump. So long as they can censor social media platforms, Europe’s gardeners will be able to disseminate the “proper narratives” to the masses. So long as they can force “green energy” regulations on China, India, Russia, and the United States, Europe’s gardeners will be able to regulate markets and limit the jungle’s economic growth. So long as they can replace their own people with foreign immigrants, Europe’s gardeners will be able to sufficiently “divide and conquer” their own populations.

But you cannot invite the jungle into the garden and expect the garden to survive. The jungle grows fast, and the garden requires too much attention. Without the means to beat back the jungle, the garden is eventually overrun.

This is Europe’s last chance at survival. If it does not put down its ideological obsessions and pick up the tools needed for real economic growth, Europe will be impoverished. If it does not relinquish its love for bureaucratic regulation and free its workers so that they may prosper, Europe will become irrelevant. If it does not give up its “rules-based” delusions and build walls for its own defense, Europe will be devoured.

The jungle does not care that old cathedrals, monuments, and palaces exist all over Europe. The jungle does not care about Europe’s past glories. Europe is just another place for the jungle to conquer next.

Half a billion people should have a say about Europe’s future. They should not have to follow Queen Ursula, Chancellor Merz, President Macron, Prime Minister Burnham, or Prime Minister Carney down the path toward extinction. They should not have to watch their economies implode while the gardeners promise them nothing but “climate change” austerity and nuclear war with Russia. The people of Europe should not have to behave as statues for the gardeners while everything around them is destroyed.

For eighty years, Europe’s leaders have failed to bring peace and prosperity to the continent. For the garden to live, the gardeners must go.

A Day In The Life.

Up at 7:30a on Saturday, a nice 54°F, blue sky, sunny, breezy morning, I upped the heat to 75° briefly, made coffee, fired-up the Win-7 Pentium HP Desktop to let its 32 million lines of code load, skipped breakfast, had a couple smokes in the garage and checked the leftover errands list. Zero. I scanned the weather and the breaking news websites, tuned into a "CP Show" Podcast 12-3 on local WSBA-910, and relaxed for the rest of the morning.

If you have 16mins, watch , this one too, about "what's coming" (possible digital disruption?).

Sis stopped-by around noon, and brought lunch from FIVE GUYS. We had a nice visit, got a plan together for my Monday morning eye surgery. Old Friend Nancy called and we caught-up on the past few months. Later, I tried to take a nap, but couldn't get to sleep, so I continued to finish the paperwork for Monday morning's surgery Dr's files.

I set all clocks back 1hr, had dinner, watched the evening news, and switched to Discovery's "Expedition X" until 1a, and unplugged.

Up at 7a (really 8a) on Sunday, a sunny, blue sky, no rain for the 11th day, cool 43° morning, I upped the heat, made coffee, and scanned the usual news and weather sites. This video is worth watching0. And thew other side of it all, is also well worth watching.

Personally, I think it's all BS, and the retailers are just trying to sell us 'disaster preps', from the usual doomers & gloomers doing this, again?. By now, there are dozens hundreds of videos on YT. Don't waste your time; email me, and I'll point you to any that really matter.

I got ready for he day, started the 1st load of laundry, and went over the 5pg medical questionnaire again, and reviewed the tomorrow morning's day-start at 5a, in my mind, once more. Got it. Lunch and the last load of laundry done, I took a 2hr nap, did some small condo chores, and watched History's "American Pickers" until 11p. Lights out, and up at 5a. Wish me luck.

Up at 4:46a on Monday, ahead of the alarm, I upped the heat, made a carafe of coffee (only allowed 1 mug of black), and had a smoke in the garage. The arrival at UPMC's Surgical Center went well, as did the surgery on my R/S eye, and we were out of there and home by 10a. I called Sherry, and was too tired from the anesthetic to stay up any longer.

Back up a few hours later, I watched the evening news, had dinner, switched to "History's Mysteries" until 11p, and hit the sack for the night.

Up at 8:15a on Tuesday, my blurry vision and I upped the heat, made coffee, scanned the news and weather, and relaxed for a while. I have an 11:15a follow-up Dr's app't, with yesterday's surgeon, and then I'm staying home for the day. I had an 11:15a Dr's app't, and Sis picked me up at 10:50, and we made it in plenty of time. The app't went well, we made a few stops and got lunch to go at Isaac's. She left around 2:15p, and I headed for the LR couch.

As Rush said many times, We Will Never Give Up on America.

Even with my greatly-impaired eyesight, I stayed-up to watch the election returns. Didn't check email, because I can't read it, so I missed Pastor Tom's PA Thread hand-off to me sometime during the day. Damn. I can't see diddly on the computer screen, without a lot of typos. So I watched a lot of TV on the 82" screen, and mostly let the computer alone. I took a 3hr nap, woke to the evening news and election coverage from hell, and stayed with that until around 3a. Lights out.

Up at 8:30a on Wednesday, it was a sad day: our Nation is now electorally infiltrated, injured and compromised, even worse that I thought it'd be, in this mid-term election. No, it wasn't a bad dream; it was a real nightmare we got last night, and woke-up to. But, as Rush said numerous time: We Will Never Give Up on America! I watched Discovery's "Expedition Unknown" and "Ghost Adventures", Curiosity Channel's "Engineering Marvels", inbetween election returns, on-and-off all day, and until almost 3a. Lights out.

Up at 8:15a on Thursday, a rainy, breezy, warm 70°, I made coffee, had a few smokes in the garage, and tuned into the "CP Show". As with the past 2-3 days, I had R/S Neuropathy and Sciatica pain, but the 250mg Bayer Aspirin helped with it. 810 days to go in Trump's 4yr term, so there's plenty of time to fight back. Damn, the computer screen is still blurry in my right eye. I left around 12noon, to get a couple errands done, and driving was a breeze. Even after 4 days at home, no sweat.

My right eye's blurriness is clearing-up, and in another day or so, I'll feel better about driving again. I watched TV: evening news, History's "unXplained Mysteries" and called it an early night at 11p.

Up at 8a on Friday, a rainy, cloudy warm 73°, I turned on the AC briefly, made coffee and scanned the news and weather. No errands, no chores today. Just some more rest. The weather cleared just after lunch and turned into a beautiful day, though we sure needed the rain. I returned some voicemail messages, did some cxomputer housecleaning, and scanned a new load of email. Then at 1p, I hit the LR couch and snoozed until almost 4p.

I had a late afternoon UPS delivery of Stonewall Kitchen products; excellent foodstuffs. I watched the evening news, and switched to Discovery's "Gold Rush" until 1a. Lights out.

Today starts a new week, here in the "Journal" and my right eye is healing nicely. The difference in vision quality, if stunning. Just one medical app't next wee. Sherr's in the "moving mode" for quite a while, but we keep in touch. Life goes on...

The Grotesque Tangle of Sedition

They put it on the form, though, cuz somebody screwed up. Oopsie. . . .

Get this: the reason that a color revolution is underway at all in America is not really political anymore — if it ever even was. It’s because a whole lot of people have committed crimes against this country. And with each wave of attempted sedition, they have compounded their crimes with more seditious acts, arrant hoaxes, lawfare, election fraud, censorship, and wholesale looting of taxpayer dollars to keep themselves out of prison.

That’s what USAID was all about, and why it was taken down early in Trump 2.0. It was a nexus of racketeering and the home-base of the Deep State’s foot soldiers, bureaucrats who actually managed the money streams to NGOs that ran everything from election rigging operations to vast social services fraud in blue states, in concert with a Democratic Party that had nothing but rackets to keep it going.

That’s how the USAID’s defunct office of Democracy, Human Rights, and Governance (DRG) has morphed into the new Democracy Renewal Group (DRG). This new DRG operates under another project called Branch-4 — as in a fourth branch of government, the permanent bureaucracy — and Branch-4 operates under an NGO called the Action Center on Race and the Economy Institute (ACRE Institute), a 501(c)(3) public charity based in Chicago (EIN 82-1199695). Note, the ACRE Institute’s primary funders include the Ford Foundation and the Rockefeller Brothers Fund. You see how byzantine this is, echoing exactly the hyper-complex administrative workings of government bureaucracy itself?

And so, that’s why, for instance, one Eric Manton, a former USAID employee now working with DRG said, “. . . we are also starting to consult federal workers on how to do some blocking inside the govt agencies during emergency situations.” Blocking? What they mean by that is federal employees lodged in the official agencies should “help run out the clock. . . develop selective hearing. . . forgetfulness. . . or blame your workload” for whatever it takes to block enforcement of any executive action proposed by the Trump administration.

Those tactics are explicitly proposed by another org, the Federal Workers Alliance for Democracy (FWAD formerly known as Federal Workers Against DOGE), which is affiliated with DRG primarily as a partner in the Renew American Democracy (RAD) strategy and through the broader Branch-4 ecosystem. Confused yet? You should be. The flak-storm of acronyms is beloved by Lefty-leftists for exactly that purpose.

RAD is run by Danielle Reiff, a 20-year veteran of USAID color revolution programs in Europe and Africa. Her co-coordinator at RAD is one Paul Zeitz, an osteopath and rabbi who worked previously for USAID in Africa and for the State Department as Director of the Data Revolution for Sustainable Development, whatever that was. FWAD is led by one Beverly Schreiber

You might ask: why has the FBI not paid a visit to Beverley Schreiber to assess how she is organizing her members to “block” actions that the chief executive orders agencies to carry out? The Federal Workers Alliance for Democracy must have a membership list. If their mission is to block the work of their agencies, as explicitly directed by FWAD, shouldn’t they be fired from their jobs?

And let’s not leave out a few other sketchy orgs and their leaders: Erica Chenoweth, who operates the United Democracy Alliance (UAD) out of Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government, which likewise operates under the “umbrella” of the Horizon Project, led by Maria J. Stephan and Julia Roig. Stephan was lead foreign affairs officer in the U.S. State Department’s Bureau of Conflict and Stabilization Operations (whatever that means), roughly 2009–2014. She was also co-director the Future of Authoritarianism Initiative at the Atlantic Council, which is funded by George Soros’s Open Society org. Julia Roig was President and CEO of PartnersGlobal, funded by USAID, the State Dept., the Ford Foundation, and George Soros’s Open Society Foundation.

What you see is a concoction of intertwined subversive endeavors with more gears and escapements than a Schwarzwald cuckoo clock, all operating under the banner of “Our Democracy,” by which they really mean their prerogative to run your world (and punish you for objecting). This includes running a coup against the current chief executive of the USA. Much of this information has been uncovered by the tireless and diligent researcher Jennica Pounds, known as Data Republican on X. She remarked Monday morning: “What makes 2026 different is that it’s the first time we know of that we found an operational, short-term plan to actually do a coup.”

Coincidentally, weird, coup-ish events played out yesterday in the Brazilian election. A judge who had been President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva’s personal lawyer ordered the polls to stay open an additional two hours until enough votes were “found” to haul Lula across the victory line over his opponent, Flavio Bolsonaro, a Trump ally. Chalk one up for the Globalists. Call it a DoorDash color revolution. Bolsonaro has refused to concede and is officially contesting the election. Expect street demonstrations by Bolsonaro supporters over this caper. Perhaps riots. Maybe Lula getting strung up Mussolini-style.

American coupsters will point to that as evidence that Trump supporters will riot after the US midterms. It’s all a giant mindfuck. Meanwhile, our coupsters have been outed. We know who they are and what they’re up to. And we are all waiting to see what federal law enforcement aims to do about it./p>
