during the Denver debate, Obama came off as if he knows the game is over. His body language has been described as disengaged, disinterested, sleepy, off his game, etc. Nonsense. This man simply no longer wants the job. He just had his Roberto Duran 'No Mas' moment.

∅bummerCare summarized: We're going to be "gifted" with a socialist-based health care plan we are forced to purchase, and fined if we don't, which supposedly covers at least 10 million new people without adding a single new doctor, but provides for 16,000 new IRS enforcement agents, written by a committee whose chairman says he doesn't understand it, passed by a Congress that didn't read it but exempted themselves from it, and signed by a President who smokes, with funding administered by a Treasury chief who didn't pay his taxes, for which we will be taxed for 4 years before any benefits take effect, by a government which has already bankrupted both Social Security and Medicare, all to be overseen by a Surgeon General who is obese, and financed by a country that's broke. What could possibly go wrong?

President Obama doesn't want to work hard. He just wants to play. He is a delegator which isn't necessarily a bad thing as long as those surrounding him pulling the levers are up to the task. Unfortunately, and at great expense of the American people his staff is filled with neophytes who aren't up to that task.

His skill set as a politician is at best some place between a public speaker and a rabble rouser. He's never been a leader at any of his career stops. His most recent included. He was never up to the job. Surely he went in with high hopes about his abilities. He seemed to truly believe he could make a difference. It appears that the sheer tidal wave of work involved with the job simply overwhelmed him. He looked like a defeated man.

It has been described in detail how far out of his depth he is as the leader of the free world and it was on display at the Denver debate. He's been built-up to believe in the nonsense that people have been shoveling him for his entire adolescent and adult life. The President fancies himself a man of ideas. His detachment from the concept that his ideas are not palatable is becoming blatantly evident. He is so engrained in his core beliefs that he feels anyone who challenges or debates him 'doesn't get it'. He is jaded and incapable of logically analyzing alternative positions – those contrary to his big state beliefs. He gets indignant and dismissive toward those with differing views. He seems to be suffering and incapable of cogently formulating responses to anyone that doesn't buy into the great Obama vacuum of hype.

Although he appears to be above average intellectually he has never challenged himself. Nor has he been forced to put the necessary time in to appreciate or understand the incrementally important factor of actually doing the work and how that can unilaterally be a driver for his intellectual side. His id is what has caused him to spiral into an utter failure as a leader and ultimately a failed President. He cannot control his pleasure principal impulses. These impulses coupled with his weak leadership core competencies have shaped him into an idea man rather than a man of action. He is not a deep enough thinker to be a difference maker in the idea man department.

Obama has been handled and coddled. My guess is that his handlers and mentors were blown away that this man ascended to the highest office in the land. I imagine at cocktail parties they are in complete disbelief that Barack Obama, a man of rather ordinary political acumen and of the thinnest resume was able to rise to the office of the President. They are clinking their glasses and saying it was a better run than their wildest dreams.

In the end Obama came off as nothing more than a man child whose self absorption has finally caught up with him. Romney came off as a strong businessman and more importantly a statesman.

[•••JS' PS: Here are two blockbuster articles and two blog posts, about the filthy øbummer traitor, which you need to read ASAP: "Trinity Church Members Reveal 0bama Shocker" and "Jesse Jackson, Wright Arranged 0bama Marriage", and "Just Happened...", and "Ten Things to Know About Denver Debate Last Night – 10/4/2012". If America doesn't get rid of this racist, Marxist, hate-America, doper, faggot, socialist, narcissist, psychopath, liar, muslim filth, lowlife dirtbag, subhuman, Kenyan, usurper, piece-of-shit ∅bama in The White Hut/Crib, and the do-nothing, lowlife bottom-feeders in the corrupt, criminal US Congress, we will lose the American Republic our Forefathers, Grandfathers and Fathers, Brothers, Sisters and Cousins fought and died for. The end of America, as we've known and loved it, is in the balance, on November 6th. This is the most important General Election in the short history of our Nation. A Day In The Life

Up at 4:45am on Friday, I should have not gone to sleep at 8pm last night, despite nodding-off at the table; I'm starting a "new cycle" of early-sleep/early-rise, again. Those few mornings when I slept until 7 or 8am, were precious. Yet, I felt "guilty" for sleeping so late after so many years of getting-up at 4am, getting into work by 5:30 to open my business and get work sone before the staff arrived. I made French-Roast, Turkish-Grind Coffee (from whole, freshly-ground Dunkin' Donuts beans) with my Chemex® Drip System, lots of Fresh-Squeezed OJ w/ lots of pulp, a bowl of hot Cream of Wheat w/ Red Raspberries, and a Buttery, Flaky Croissant. I miss watering/feeding Murphy, in the mornings, and all through the day.

Did you watch the 1st Live Presidential Debate, last Wednesday? Well, I got a "secret copy of øbummer's debate notes", swiped from his podium. LOL. And shit-for-brains, VP Joey "Plugs" Biden (IDIOT-DE) is busily-preparing for this week's 1st Live VP Debate. LOL.

After scanning the news and weather sites, I saw that Accu-Weather is predicting snow in Denver this weekend, with above average snowfall activity for the Northeast, 2012-13. Heh, who really knows for sure? And The Weather Channel is now naming Winter Storms, to add to the public's confusion. Personally, I like remembering just simple events, such as "The Blizzard of 1996", "The Ice Storm of 2003" etc. Nothing fancy; just the facts. Damn, snow in Denver, already. I believe I called an "early Winter", a few weeks ago.

With today's temps of around 80°F forecast to be the "last warm days of this year", I went over to Dad's around 10am, re-baited the Hav-A-Heart® Squirrel Trap in the detached 2-car garage w/ peanut butter and acorns, visited with him for a while, and drove to Sam's Club to get a membership app. Oh wait; they want to charge me to shop there? F•ck that crap. I'll stay with Weis, Giant, True-Value, Home Depot, Lowe's etc. I got back home around 11:30am, made a Sliced Steak & Peppers Sandwich w/ Fries for lunch, cleaned the tempered glass storm door inserts for my Condo's front and back doors, but opted to wait a day or so to install them, until the weather gets noticeably colder. It's going to be a long, cold, hard Winter, and I want to enjoy the fresh air as long as I can, for now. The monthly forecast is telling me that I have another day or two before I make the switch.

After setting-up my unused Kenmore® 35-pt Dehumidifier on wheels, with a 25ft grounded-extension cord, 12ft drainage hose in the basement to dry it out a bit, I decided to take a break from that mess for the beautiful day-at-hand, until the rains and cooler weather arrive over the next 2-3 days. I'll get to that unpleasant task, tomorrow. I did some more garage clean-out and Winter-prep, Cloroxed the 2 oil spot-stained small floor areas clean and spotless, listened to Rush, the morning's missed Chris Plante Show Podcast, and oiled-up my 2 Kimbers: the Kimber® 1911 Stainless "Custom TLE™ II" (Tactical Law Enforcement) .45cal ACP, and the Kimber® 1911 "Eclipse Target™ II" .45cal ACP. I made it until 9:30pm, by watching #5 "Thin Ice" of the 8-set "Jesse Stone" DVD series, with Tom Selleck.

I slept-in until 6:30am on Saturday; which would be a drizzly, warm 73°F day with t-storms and much colder weather arriving later in the evening. I made Fresh-Squeezed OJ w/ lots of pulp, Buckwheat & Blueberry Pancakes, a ½-lb of Bacon and coffee. Exhausted physically and mentally, I still need to keep plowing ahead with working on the basement "horror show", as I'm finally making a noticeable "dent" in it. I figure another 20-25hrs should do it, but I'm having trouble working myself up to the "get started" point. I needed to go over to Dad's and get 2 more cartons of the new HDX Stacking 5-Shelf Units; that'll leave just 6 remaining of the 10 I bought last week. I'll bring back 2 cartons each trip, from now on until I have them all at my place. I left for Dad's at 9:45am.

I visited with Dad, loaded 2 more shelves to bring back, checked the newly-rebated but still unsprung squirrel trap, and got home around 11:30am. After unloading the cartons, I made a Grilled Ham & Swiss w/ Tomato, Lettuce, Sliced Pepper, Egg & Olive Salad on Rye Bread Sandwich and chips for lunch, worked on the garage's final cleanout/Winter prep area, opened-up the Condo's windows for some fresh air, and took a 3hr snooze. Temps dropped rapidly to 54°F by 6:30pm, as the doorbell woke me up. PA State Rep Keith Gillespie (Conservative-PA) was asking for my vote in November; he's on my "Vote For List". I listened to last Monday's Chris Plante Show Podcast, and shut-down for the night at 10pm.

After a fitful night's sleep, I finally woke-up at 5:45am, had some Del Monte® Red Grapefruit Sections, made Breakfast and coffee, checked my food shopping list and left at 7am, just as my scheduled WIN-7 Pro System Back-Up, began. That all done, I was back by 8:30, did a load of laundry, some computer HD reorganization/cleaning, containerized some sliced Allen Bros steak for Dad, and drove over to visit for a while. Rain had already moved into the area and was getting heavier, so that precluded my repairing any leaks in, and spreading the remaining 4 bags of mulch over, the exposed lengths of drip irrigation system hose, until the ground dries-out over the next day or so. I re-baited and reset the squirrel trap in his detached 2-car garage; that's a clever critter. At 43°F outside, and only a forecast high of 51-55°F for the next several days, it would take time to dry out the gardens so they're workable again. I was back home by 11:15, and made a Turkey Club w/ Chips for lunch.

I managed to work a couple more hours in the basement, sorting through boxes and stuff, bagging-up old files for incineration, sorting things for donation to Salvation Army Thrift Store and other stuff for weekly curb disposal. I'll be at it most all-day on Monday; it needs to get done before Friday. After washing-up from the grimy work, I watched some TV and quit for the day at 9:30pm. Time for some sleep.

I got up at 6am on Monday to a cold Condo and 36°F outside frost! Time for the wool blankets. With my Turkish Bathrobe on, and the heat quickly turned-up to 77°F, I had some Del Monte® Red Grapefruit Sections and made my "Columbus Day" Breakfast. Heh. Monday's my usual day to change the bed, do a load or two of laundry, and since it's a national holiday today, many places won't be open, and many will be having "sales", clogging-up the roads to the malls and shopping centers. So I got an early start to avoid the crowds. I went to Dad's to visit, loaded 2 more cartons of shelf units, picked-up a load of pressed/starched shirts at the cleaners, and was back home by 11:30am. High for the day was a damp and chilly 51°F. Some re-heated Yankee Pot Roast hit-the-spot on this cold day, and I went down the basement to sort through dozens and dozens of boxes and many hundreds of files, books, clothes, equipment and loads of memories. I found numerous precious things and saved them.

I'll be putting a full pictorial essay on "The Basement Clean-Out & Renovation Project", next week, starting from day one through the final set-up and shelf restocking. There are score of pics, but I'll edit it all down into 20 or so stages. It was a boatload of work, of huge proportions, for 22yrs of *accumulated stuff*. Whew, I'm glad it's almost over.

The doorbell rang at 4:30pm; it was Arthur and Bob, two friends and former employees, who stopped by to help me with my task in the basement. 3 pairs of hands made it go a lot faster than just mine alone. Unfortunately, so much stuff downstairs was damaged by my 3 cats' clawing and urine over the past 22 years, that the vast majority of the old major event newspapers, thousands of photos, hundreds of magazines, books, and piles of Scouting/Army clothes etc just weren't salvageable. What I didn't want to keep, I donated to the local Salvation Army Thrift Store for resale. The rest, went back into boxes or HD-Contractor Garbage Bags for transport and burning. By 6:45pm, the cold rains had arrived and we'd taken 10-15 short breaks, but had that whole side cleaned-out. Arthur and Bob washed-up and left at 7pm. On Friday, the serious hauling begins, and I can then get the cleared-out floor thoroughly-cleaned/disinfected, as I did with the other side, and begin setting-up the final 8 of 10 shelf units, over the weekend, and move the saved items back on to some of the shelf units. After a long, hot shower, I caught-up on the day's email deluge, listened to the last hour of the Mark Levin Show, took a handful of aspirin, and shut down for the night at 9:30pm. Damn, I was seriously tired.

Not tired enough, I guess. I woke-up at 3am on Tuesday, and couldn't get back to sleep. Turned-up the heat first; then had 3 mugs of French-Roast, Turkish-Grind Coffee, a glass of Fresh-Squeezed OJ w/ lots of pulp, and Eggs Benedict Florentine w/ Hash Browns. Despite yesterday being a national holiday, the garbage collection trucks came through at 6am; usually they're a day off-schedule as a result of a Monday holiday, and work into Saturday. At 9:45, I drove over to the Salvation Army to drop-off 4 bags and a box full of books, over to Dad's – he was at a Dr's appointment – and loaded one of his oriental rugs for repair/cleaning at Essis & Sons, also took the last 2 cartons of shelf units, and was home by 11:30am.

Oh crap, Dad got a 6pm call from Giant Foods Co – tracked my purchase through Mom's old Giant Bonus Card which I've used for the past 3-4yrs – about the cart full of absolutely delicious Talenti Gelato I'd just bought. Apparently the 'Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup' variety has a nationwide salmonella alert warning on it. Yikes! We'd both eaten ours and are OK.

I had a Grilled Cheese w/Ham Sandwich & Potato Salad for lunch. The City of York called and rescheduled our Wednesday 10am meeting to Thursday 10am, at the GC&N Complex. My oriental rug, which I dropped-off 2¾-weeks ago will be ready on Friday. With the Condo landscape maintenance, checking Dad's drip irrigation system and remulching the PVC lines, basement debris loading and hauling etc, that'll be a busy day. By 8pm, I was tired and fading fast, and quit for the night at 8:30pm.

Finally, a good long night's sleep. I got up at 6:30am on Wednesday, cranked-up the heat to 77°F, had some Texas Red Grapefruit sections, made Poached Eggs w/ Canadian Bacon and coffee. At 9am, I called Dad to see how he was doing, reviewed both our next 2-3 days' schedules, and decided to stay inside to do some more basement work, in prep for Friday's loading and clean-out. While working, I piped the Glenn Beck Program, 9a-12p, into the basement to make things go faster. By 11:45am, I'd had enough and came up to make a Roast Beef Sandwich & Fries Smothered in Gravy, for lunch. UPS had delivered 2 cartons of 24 3" x 9" Wholesale Emergency White Pillar Candles (12/carton), from New York-based Basic Bulk Candles Co, for my basement stockpile shelves. UPS had damaged 1 carton; 2 candles were broken, and the very fine Basic Bulk Candles Co shipped 3 replacements the same day. Thanks, Jay! Great company, product, price, delivery and superb customer service. I'll definitely do business with them again.

Uh-oh, another food alert recall: Kellogg's Mini-Frosted Shredded Wheat are full of metal mesh pieces! Yikes. The US FDA website has the listings of which packages were affected; I found 2 downstairs in my "pantry", and immediately returned them to Weis Market for a refund/ exchange.

I listened to the morning's missed Chris Plante Show Podcast, Dad stopped-by for a visit after getting a new electric coffeemaker at The Galleria, and then caught the usual Mark Levin Show, from 6-9pm. I hadn't even checked the weather or news sites, so I did that for 20mins, to get caught-up on things. I bagged-it for the night, around 9:30. Busy day tomorrow.

I 'slept like a baby', until 6am, had some OJ, Soft-Boiled Eggs w/ Toast in a bowl and coffee, scanned the weather and news sites, reviewed my day's busy schedule, and left at 8:15am. 46°F and bright sunshine. So many stops, errands and meetings piled-up for today and tomorrow, it was going to be hectic getting to all of them. After driving down to Stewartstown's Rite Aid to pick-up 4 Rxs, I went back to the GC&N Complex at 10am to meet with 4 City of York/ Parks & Recreation Employees, to review their plant material choices, add a few more on to the list, and get a scheduled 5-day week of digging/transport set aside for them in November. The Twp of Hellam is still working on getting their manpower and equipment organized, and will request a separate week to get their material dug and transplanted. I left for home around 11:45am.

After unpacking some groceries from the car, I grilled a Bacon Cheeseburger w/ Fries, took a quart of homemade Chicken Corn Soup over to Dad's, helped him with a couple projects, visited for a while and came back at 3pm. FedEx had delivered a new Breuer Arm Chair (black), to exactly match my existing 6 units, and I began assembling it in my garage. Temps had hit only 57°F, and were dropping down quickly through the mid-40s. By 6pm, I was ready for the Mark Levin Show, from 6-9pm, and the First VP-Debate on C-Span, on from 9-10:30pm.

Tomorrow starts a new week here in the "Journal", and so far, it's shaping-up to be a fairly light week of meetings and/or appointments; just getting the basement finishing touches done will be my priority over the weekend and into the first part of next week. I'm getting together tomorrow, for a lunch with Tim, an old friend and longtime nursery sales rep, for my closed business for 21yrs. It'll be good to see him and catch-up, after the past 12-14mos. No telling what else will happen next week. Life's always full of surprises, both good and bad.

Your TSHTF Survival

Are you truly ready for when, not if, TSHTF (The Shit Hits The Fan). And a lot of my "Journal" Readers have emailed and called me to discuss what preparations they should take for that "coming awful event". Believe me, "it" IS coming. Based upon what's happening around the world and here in the US, I have a terrible, terrible *gut feeling* that TSWHTF (The Shit Will Hit The Fan), sometime in late-2012 or in early-2013. Don't ask why; I just do.

First, Israel is preparing for war, after being attacked for years on many fronts, and not fighting back as she should have. This war will truly have "Biblical implications" around the world. The Middle East is rapidly-collapsing under the subhuman, murderous muslim/islamic riots (muslim Brotherhood) and rule ("arab Spring"), with world crude oil prices projected to hit $200+/bbl, or even higher into the $300-$400 range,

Europe is on the verge of insolvency and collapse, no thanks in great part to Germany, teetering-and-tottering Asia and South America will quickly-follow, then comes the downfall of Canada, and The USA won't be far behind, in late 2012 and into 2013. Watch this video; be sure you're sitting-down, and don't have any food or liquid in your mouth upon which to choke.

Just Google "survival" and see what comes-up. Damned-near everything you ever wanted to know how to prepare for this for-sure-coming "hellish holocaust", some of it in easy-to-download *.PDF format. Tens-of-thousands of websites are devoted to the topic of "survival". Do the same with "You Tube", and watch the thousands of videos. This is *NOT The Phony Y2K Crappola*; this is for real. I said numerous times that Y2K was a waste of time and money to prepare for, and that came true. I'm reading that "survival stores" are reporting a huge upswing in sales and preparations, and for good reason.

I'm also one of the very, very few who "predicted a 9-11 type event", 2 years and 8 months before it happened. Read down that "Journal" entry to the "Scary Stuff" section, and it was done by the subhuman, murderous muslim/islamic shit/filth/trash, NOT the US Gov't as some morons and idiots (Alex Jones & Co), have and still It's interesting you mention when an old paradigm dies and a new one takes its place. There are people who are still connected to the old one and can't conceive of life without that old paradigm. I think you saw that in the Great Depression. A lot of people never recovered from it because once that hit it was the end of their lives. claim. Need I say more about those certifiable and murderous, subhuman muslim/islamist wackos who are determined to kill all of us Proud Infidels?

Am I an "conspiracy alarmist" or one of those "crazed survivalists", sequestered in a Montana, Idaho, Utah or Wyoming compound or bunker? Not hardly; I'm simply in mid-State Pennsylvania, an Eagle Scout, Class of November 23rd, 1963 – youngest ever Eagle Scout in American History, at 12 years old – Order Of The Arrow/ Vigil Honor, and our BSA Motto was then, and still is now, "Be Prepared". Need I say any more?

Forget all of the "buy gold and silver" bullshit commercials; buy "brass and lead" for your guns. They're a far, far superior investment, IMO. Ammo is truly a "fungible" item; gold & silver aren't at all. They may be "intrinsic", but they're utterly-useless in a collapsing/collapsed society or world. Do the requisite research, as I've done. 'Nuff said on that subject.

BTW, how are you stocked-up for incandescent light bulbs? Within 4 weeks, manufacturing and using 100w incandescent will become "a crime", thanks to stupid-assed, liberal moron chimp, shit-for-brains, George W Bush & Co, in 2007. You'll be forced, under penalty-of-law, to use the very expensive,

dangerous and short-lived CFLs (Compact Fluorescent Light bulbs). Better stock-up NOW on 60w, 75w and 100w incandescents, where and when you can find them, before they become unavailable and illegal!

This government's ***CRIMINALLY NUTS***, in trying to regulate our use of anything and everything! It's fascism, socialism, Leninism and communism, dammit, and it won't stand! Where is that in The US Constitution? The US Government isn't empowered to force us to do or buy anything, and has overstepped its legal authority in The ENUMERATED Commerce Clause. The Commerce Clause is quite specifically an enumerated power listed in the United States Constitution (Article I, Section 8, Clause 3). The Contemporary Commerce Clause debate, When "decided by the SCOTUS in the Summer of 2012", will cause CWIII, if upheld. Stockpile NOW, because TSHTF before/during/after the November General Election!

Gold is NOT the way to go; lead and brass (aka ammo) ARE. Mark my words!

TSHTF this or next year, and members of the corrupt, criminal US Congress are helping racist, commie, lowlife scumbag Barry "Fuck America!" Obama (SAMBO-IL), by either collaborating with him or cowering before him, on his You are going to see, in metro areas, the absolute worst in humanity, as the people that are most dependent upon a collectivist system, whether they're these Occupy Well Street people, or people who are loaded up with debt, they are totally unprepared for an economic reality where their paradigm does not function. As a result they're going to go through the absolute most disgusting inhumanity that I think any American has ever seen as they go through this anger phase – and it's going to result in riots, and starvation and bloodshed. It has to happen. You don't have people's life savings disappear and people become desperate, and not have that happen. coming "Race War" plan.

We are *at war with Iran*; no doubt about it. Get used to it. And shit-for-brains, racist, commie, lowlife scumbag Barry "F•ck America!" Obama (TRAITOR-IL) has politely "asked" for our formerly Top Secret RQ-170 Sentinel Drone "to be returned". What a dumbf•ck Obama is! He should be charged, tried and imprisoned for *treason*, IMO.

I've been saying, for the past 2-3 years, that no one should buy any gold or silver; it's worthless crap if TSHTF (The Shit Hits The Fan). Instead, buy guns and ammo; they're a far, far better investment, IMO. Any questions?

Uh-oh, it's beginning to happen in Europe. Better get ready for it to come over here, soon, as The Fed f•cks America, once again. Time to abolish The Fed and its corrupt, criminal influence on America's economy!

Here's a very useful List of Barter Items, for when TSHTF. Get and stockpile those and more, if you know what's good for you and your family! Think I'm kidding? Better read this and think VERY carefully about it.

With the FBI already considering many US Citizens as "sovereign citizen extremists", are you ready for "Rex 84" & The FEMA Camps? A new bill has been introduced in the US House of Representatives called the National Emergency Centers Act or HR 645. This bill if passed into law will direct the Secretary of Homeland Security to establish

national emergency centers otherwise known as FEMA Camp Facilities on military installations. Some more detail on "Rex 84", right here, written by, very disappointingly, USMC Lt Col Oliver North.

"Economic chaos" ahead? You betcha. Are you and your family ready for it? It IS coming, at out current rate of out-of-control government spending.

Before TSHTF, here are 20 Lessons From The Streets of Cairo. Worth reading, if you plan to survive.

And before TSHTF, here are Innumerable Lessons From The Collapse of Bosnia, in 1992. Also worth reading, if you plan to survive.

Looks like a "race war" is coming, thanks to the hate-filled nigga race-pimps Jackson, Sharpton, Farrakan and New Black Pampers®, and time is growing shorter and shorter before TSHTF.

Don't let the possibility of DHS watching your every move deter you in preparing for TSHTF; do it regardless. Your and your Family's safety & survival always comes first. Beware of what your neighbors will do if you're prepared and they're not.

State and local resistance to the detention provisions contained in the 2012 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) continues to grow, rapidly-emerging as a nationwide movement against the illegal and unconstitutional Federal Jack-Booted-Thugs' powers.

America is already being turned into a giant prison camp, and 90% of Americans either go along with it or don't see it happening. I do.

When prepping, always plan your survival purchases first on paper; buy them afterward.

Here's another good preparedness/precious metals website, 321 Gold. No, I don't believe in gold & silver, for what's coming. I believe in *lead & brass*/*food & water* for that situation; the other stuff comes much, much later.

Here's a new "warning" about a solar-based EMP event. If it happens, TSHTF.

Obama: "Entrepreneurs Don't Build Businesses"

"Last week, President Barack Obama delivered some telling remarks to a fire station full of people in Roanoke, Virginia. I'll save you the trouble of reading the (long and uninspired) speech and provide you with the most interesting part:

"If you've got a business – you didn't build that. Somebody else made that happen." – President Barack Obama, July 13th, 2012.

It would be easy to respond with something along the lines of, "Somebody else made that happen? Who? Who magically imagined the product or service, started the business, built it up, and created the jobs? Who was it? The tooth fairy?" And to some extent, President Obama's statement is so ridiculous as to merit that sort of quick, flippant response.

(Here's the video of that loony remark.)

However, he's not entirely wrong. This reminds me of an argument that Massachusetts Senate Democratic candidate Elizabeth Warren would probably make. If he's talking about a mid-sized or large business, where an entrepreneur has hired additional employees, then at that point the business's success isn't purely that of its founder.

Employees add value to a business through work and ideas. That's why you hire employees, after all. Steve Jobs didn't invent every last detail of the phones, computers, and tablets to come out of Apple over the last decade. There were engineers working on those products who developed them. So, employees help entrepreneurs to build their business. "Somebody else" did indeed play a part in making that happen.

But what makes the president's remarks so inane is the totality of what he's saying. He's not saying that entrepreneurs and employees work together to build a business. It's not a collaborative effort. It's all thanks to the employees. Usually, I can understand the way the president's mind works on most issues by examining it through a pragmatic, liberal, or progressive framework. This one baffles me.

As I explained, I can see that he has some of a point, but he's still just obviously wrong on the broader point. Sure, the employees help to build the business, but the business itself wouldn't exist without the entrepreneur. So, to say to entrepreneurs and to business owners, "...you didn't build that. Somebody else made that happen," is just wrong. It's silly. They did build that by setting the foundation for the business.

Entrepreneurs are almost always the hardest workers in their business. They work a simply insane number of hours to get their idea off the ground. If they succeed (and they face a tremendous risk if they don't), then they'll start to grow and to hire employees to help. Honestly, if I were an entrepreneur and I read those remarks by the president, I would be furious. It's a tremendous insult to the true job-creators in America, entrepreneurs.

In the context of a long, somewhat rambling campaign speech that touched on every issue under the sun, it may seem as though I'm over-exaggerating the importance of a minor thing he said. But President Obama isn't a stupid man, or even one who makes off-the-cuff remarks he doesn't really mean. He's a very smart man, and he meant what he said.

When the most important issues for most Americans are economic growth and job creation, I believe it's essential to know exactly where both candidates stand on the importance of entrepreneurs. Yesterday, we learned that President Obama believes that entrepreneurs don't build businesses. Ultimately, they're irrelevant. Take that for what you will." ©Principles and Policy, July 14, 2012

Things Which Make Your Head Explode

Amazing how some liberal-demokkkRAT morons, idiots and racists go nutso, when two Conservatives speak the truth, about reality. F•ck-off, libs!

This is truly worrisome: "Millions of unexploded bombs lie in waters off US coast, researchers say".

Have you ever seen the stinking 0bummer's pigshit muzzie ring?

A Texas moron, Barrett Brown, linked to the worldwide hacking group Anonymous is facing federal charges for YouTube videos and Twitter postings in which he taunts the FBI and threatens to ruin one agent's life. Dumbshit asshole. Actually, the Anonymous has done a couple of good things against muzzie terrorist scum, so I'm surprised this happened.

Mitt Romney's been called a lot of things on MSNBC. But when a Romney surrogate called President Obama "lazy," it seemed to go too far for anchor dumbass bitch skank, Andrea Mitchell – who suggested her guest take it back. F•ck you, Mitchell whore!

Lardass, mentally-ill, bloated, alcoholic, fatso, drug-addicted, dumbf•ck moron, AlGoreBore, farted this out: that if Obama seemed like he had his head in the clouds, the former VP reasoned, perhaps it was because he was having trouble adjusting to the Mile-High City. Huh? Idiot liberal, scum-sucking asswipe!

Somehow I knew the Chi-Com-Chinks were going to be involved in Toyota's counterfeit airbag problem, and sure enough, they are. What's with Toyota not testing them? Now, I won't ever be buying a Toyota Land Cruiser or Sequoia; I'll buy Ford Motor Co, when I finally decide to replace my 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee 'Laredo'.
