i have been searching for moderate Islam (spit!) since September 11 and just like a lost sock in the dryer, it was in the last place I expected it to be.
There is no moderate Islam (spit!) in the mosques or in Mecca. You won’t find it in the Koran or the Hadiths. If you want to find moderate Islam (spit!), browse the newspaper editorials after a terrorist attack or take a course on Islam (spit!)ic religion taught by a Unitarian Sociologist wearing fake native jewelry.

The true moderate Muslims (spit!) are secular liberals of loosely Christian and Jewish persuasion who have invented and believe in a moderate Islam (spit!) that doesn’t exist outside of their own heads. This secular Islam (spit!), which values all life, is dedicated to social justice and universal tolerance, is a counterpart of their own bastardized religions. And they are too afraid to wake up and realize that it doesn’t exist.
When American and European leaders insist that Islam (spit!) has nothing to do with the latest Islam (spit!)ic atrocity, they are not referencing a religion practiced by Muslims (spit!), but an imaginary religion that they imagine Muslims (spit!) must practice because the alternative is the end of everything that they believe in.
Their moderate Islam (spit!) is light on the details, beyond standing for social justice, fighting Global Warming and supporting gay rights, because it is really multiculturalism wearing a fake beard. When a Western leader claims that the latest batch of Islam (spit!) terrorists don’t speak for Islam (spit!), he isn’t defending Muslims (spit!), he’s defending multiculturalism. He assumes that Muslims (spit!) believe in multiculturalism because he does.
Moderate Islam (spit!) is just multiculturalism misspelled. Its existence is a firm article of faith for those who believe in multiculturalism.
Dissuading a believer in moderate Muslims (spit!) from his invented faith by citing the long trail of corpses or the hateful Hadiths that call for mass murder is futile because these are not the roots of his religion. He doesn’t know what a Hadith is nor does he care. As a social justice man in good standing, he attributes the violent track record of Islam (spit!) to European colonialism and oppression.
He has never read the Koran. He has read a thousand articles about how Muslims (spit!) are oppressed at the airport, in Gaza, in Burma and in Bugs Bunny cartoons. A Day In The Life
I was up at 7am on Friday, to the sound of the recycling garbage trucks, and before checking the weather sites, saw the outdoor thermometer pegged at 73°F, with a dark, foggy, cloudy start to the day. With Turkish-ground drip coffee and fresh OJ, I made a large Breakfast, checked the usual news and weather sites, listened to an hour of the Chris Plante Show, got ready and left at 10am for Dad's. We spent some time on taxes and other financial matters, and after some quick computer projects, I left to make a few stops on the way home. Back at 1pm, it was already 82°F but still very foggy and cloudy, with major t-storms heading our way from the

Awake at 4am on Saturday, and unable to get back to sleep – one of last night's videos was bothering me – I made coffee, had some Texas Red Grapefruit, and Ham, Home Fries & Eggs, while I waited for sunrise. It's not getting light until 6:40am, now, as Fall closes-in. By 10:30-11, I'd had a UPS delivery and a FedEx delivery, moved the Jeep out of the garage so I could deal with unpacking the large boxes, and collapse the cardboard for recycling. Huge purple-red, t-storm cells blew thru at 12noon and 2pm, while I was out for a walk; luckily I was within 100ft of my open garage when the skies opened-up. I had some strawberry ice cream, stayed-in for the rest of the afternoon, and watched some movies: Operation Dragonstrike, "101st Airborne" (48:23) and Operation Anaconda, "Battle of Roberts Ridge" (48:01) and Hell & Back Again (1:28:28). After a good night's sleep, I got-up at 8am on Sunday, to a bright, sunny, cool and low humidity, 62°F morning. After OJ, I made coffee and an English Muffin w/ Apricot Preserves, checked email, the weather and news sites. With the cool weather and nice breeze, I opened-up all the windows and back screen door, to air-out the Condo. I started my computer's back-up routine, and two loads of laundry. For a 1:30pm lunch, I drove to Dad's and made us two 10oz Steakburgers and chips. I came home around 2:30pm, remade the bed, put the laundry in to dry, folded the rest and watched a few videos about Afghanistan: "The Battle for Marjah" and "Battleground Afghanistan" and "Never-Ending War in Afghanistan", and Battle For Haditha, until the usual Sunday evening streaming Gun Talk Radio Network Show came on at 8pm, while I followed the thread on this site, until 11pm. I closed down, armed the joint, and went up to get some sleep.
Monday was another cool, 51°F, sunny morning at 8am, and I fired-up the furnace for 10mins to take the chill off the place. With no appetite yet, I skipped breakfast and just had some OJ and coffee. The recurring, eerie and horrible 9-11 dreams woke me at 3am on Wednesday, and I couldn't get back to sleep. Damn; sucks to be me today. Lots of coffee, fresh OJ and a big Breakfast, and I was okay. The sun was up at 6:40am, temp at 66°F, and a cloudy day ahead. The news and weather sites weren't terribly exciting, the email load was small, so I left for some errands at 9am. Back by 11:30, I had legal documents to gather, review and make corrections on for my 2pm
Finally, a good night's sleep, until 7:30am on Thursday, and no disturbing dreams that I can remember. Well, it's 9-11; I'll distinctly remember that day for the rest of my life. Here's how it happened, in 18&#@189; minutes. NEVER FORGET! After making coffee and OJ, I checked the weather and news sites, saw that it was already snowing in the Plains States, checked email, and looked at the day's "to-do list". T-storms on the way here, for later afternoon and evening. I left at 9:15 to get thru some of the list. After a few stops, I went to Dad's, and we drove to our neighborhood appliance retailer, to order a part for his stove top microwave. Traffic was heavy, with LOTS of police cars seemingly everywhere. Finally back home at 11:15am, I had some crabcakes, listened to Rush and packed-up paperwork for my 2pm meeting.
On the morning trip, I noticed that gas/diesel prices at the pump, had increased 4¢/gal, since just last Monday, September 1st: Unleaded Regular (87 oct) is now at $3.39/gal, Unleaded Premium (89oct) at $3.49/gal, Premium (93 oct) at $3.69/gal, and Diesel Fuel/Kerosene K-2 also rose 4¢/gal to $3.79/gal, at many stations in the York (PA) area.Did you listen to Hussein 0bummer's "war speech" last evening? It was piteously laughable, even at a mercifully brief 14 minutes.
Never Forget!
I left at 1:15pm, made good time getting to downtown York, found a parking space right in front of my attorney's brownstone building – York has some truly beautiful architecture and buildings – fed the meter and had a smoke before going inside. He was running late anyway, so after our meeting, I left at 2:45, and headed home. It was like a sauna bath outside, yet only 81°F, and the skies were dark with clouds. As I drove back to East York, the sun broke out, and the t-storms passed south of us. At home, I talked to a couple of neighbors who were out walking their dogs, about their remembrances of 9-11-01, and that turned into an hour long conversation. By 4:30pm, the t-storm clouds were again passing over, so I brought out the garbage for tomorrow curbside pick-up, closed the garage, and stayed in for the rest of the day. I ate several delicious Tangerines, while watching some bookmarked 9-11 videos: "The Secret History of 9/11 - Full Documentary", "9/11 EXPOSED, Researched facts and analysis - Full Documentary", and "9/11 Inside The Hamburg Cell", and "9/11 Pentagon Attack Review - American 77", until 11:45pm. I'd had enough of rewatching all 9-11 sadness/anger/rage, not to mention the incompetency/stupidity/screw-ups, was very glad that nothing happened to America today, closed down, armed the Condo, and went up to sleep.
Tomorrow starts a new week here in the "Journal", with Dad's Court of Valor (COV) ceremony on Sunday afternoon, and a few meetings during the week, nothing extraordinary is scheduled or expected. Personally, I hope it's a quiet week, and I can get some Crockpot cooking done for Dad, Becky and myself. I used to thrive on controlled chaos and a frenetic pace, during my various business careers, but these years, I can do without all that. Must be "getting old", or something.

Sierra Leone, Guinea and Liberia are going through the worst Ebola outbreak in history and health officials believe that it has killed more than 700 people there. Now, for the first time, Ebola has "officially" entered the United Sates via two health aid workers, that contracted the disease while working in Africa, where the Ebola outbreak continues.
Ebola virus disease (EVD), originally known as Ebola hemorrhagic fever, is a severe, and often times (70-90%) fatal disease in humans. Case fatality can be up to 90 percent – in other words, 90 out of every 100 people who catch Ebola die. EVD outbreaks typically occur in remote villages in Central and West Africa and are transmitted via wild animals (such as fruit bats) to humans.
The first patient landed in the United States on Saturday, August 2, 2014. Dr. Kent Brantly was then flown from Africa to the United States and then transported via ambulance to Emory University Hospital in Atlanta. The second person, Nancy Whitebol, will return to the U.S. in the coming days. Many people are questioning the decision to bring the two American aid workers to the United States to be treated. 3. Why are we cutting benefits for our veterans, no pay raises for our military and cutting our army to a level lower than before WWII, but we are not stopping the payments or benefits to all illegal aliens?

Obama: "Entrepreneurs Don't Build Businesses"
"Last week, President Barack Obama delivered some telling remarks to a fire station full of people in Roanoke, Virginia. I'll save you the trouble of reading the (long and uninspired) speech and provide you with the most interesting part:
"If you've got a business – you didn't build that. Somebody else made that happen." – President Barack Obama, July 13th, 2012.
It would be easy to respond with something along the lines of, "Somebody else made that happen? Who? Who magically imagined the product or service, started the business, built it up, and created the jobs? Who was it? The tooth fairy?" And to some extent, President Obama's statement is so ridiculous as to merit that sort of quick, flippant response.

However, he's not entirely wrong. This reminds me of an argument that Massachusetts Senate Democratic candidate Elizabeth Warren would probably make. If he's talking about a mid-sized or large business, where an entrepreneur has hired additional employees, then at that point the business's success isn't purely that of its founder.
Employees add value to a business through work and ideas. That's why you hire employees, after all. Steve Jobs didn't invent every last detail of the phones, computers, and tablets to come out of Apple over the last decade. There were engineers working on those products who developed them. So, employees help entrepreneurs to build their business. "Somebody else" did indeed play a part in making that happen.
But what makes the president's remarks so inane is the totality of what he's saying. He's not saying that entrepreneurs and employees work together to build a business. It's not a collaborative effort. It's all thanks to the employees. Usually, I can understand the way the president's mind works on most issues by examining it through a pragmatic, liberal, or progressive framework. This one baffles me.
As I explained, I can see that he has some of a point, but he's still just obviously wrong on the broader point. Sure, the employees help to build the business, but the business itself wouldn't exist without the entrepreneur. So, to say to entrepreneurs and to business owners, "...you didn't build that. Somebody else made that happen," is just wrong. It's silly. They did build that by setting the foundation for the business.
Entrepreneurs are almost always the hardest workers in their business. They work a simply insane number of hours to get their idea off the ground. If they succeed (and they face a tremendous risk if they don't), then they'll start to grow and to hire employees to help. Honestly, if I were an entrepreneur and I read those remarks by the president, I would be furious. It's a tremendous insult to the true job-creators in America, entrepreneurs.
In the context of a long, somewhat rambling campaign speech that touched on every issue under the sun, it may seem as though I'm over-exaggerating the importance of a minor thing he said. But President Obama isn't a stupid man, or even one who makes off-the-cuff remarks he doesn't really mean. He's a very smart man, and he meant what he said.
When the most important issues for most Americans are economic growth and job creation, I believe it's essential to know exactly where both candidates stand on the importance of entrepreneurs. The facility was built for $24 million in 2010. The cavernous warehouse is typically shrouded in total darkness. Motion lights illuminate only the areas in which someone is walking.
